This is speaking from personal experience and I might be generalising a little but... For a young man, there's something incredibly alluring about an older woman. She's more experienced (not just sexually), more sure of themselves, they know what they like and what they don't, in general they are less self-conscious.
When I had my first relationship with an older woman I was 17 going on 18 and she was in her 40s. Before I met her I used to fancy her beautiful daughter, who was about my age. One day a group of friends and I visited this girl at home and her mum was there (our excuse to revise for exams yada yada). My god, talk about the mother outshining the daughter.
This woman just oozed sex appeal without even trying. Her self-confidence, her whole persona was very alluring, especially if we compared to her daughter and friends our age, typical selfcosncious teenagers still learning about life, sex, relationships, etc. The mother... she had it all, and to top it all she was beautiful too.
I'm embarrased to admit it now but since that day I moved heaven and earth to spend time alone with the mother, with one excuse or another. At first she saw me as an amusing if slightly silly nuisance of a boy but she was never nasty or condecending. One day at a party she was there with her daughter. We danced and that was when I first kissed her. The rest is history and I was the happiest 18-year old ever! It didn't last long but it was so amazing that I still remember every moment I spent with her.
What she taught me was priceless. To take my time! Take it slowly. You can imagine a young man with raging hormones going at it 100 miles an hour. She taught me to enjoy lovemaking in a different way... I'm sure I don't need to explain it here.
Then again, I suppose it works both ways. I'm sure you've all heard of similar stories from younger women finding older experienced men more attractive than men their own age.
I once saw an Italian film called Malena with Monica Bellucci. About a teenage boy's infatuation with an older woman... It brought back fond memories.

Age is simply a number...... the importance is general health, fitness and maturity 
Ive seen bodies on 40yr olds that put a 30yr old to shame, and 22yr olds who are more mature (sexually and conversation wise) than their older counterparts! In fact, I take being dismissed *purely* on the grounds of age a slight insult, TBH.

Kiwi, for us you would be too old. I understand you take that as an insult but there are reasons.
If your fantasy was to have sex with a six foot woman would 5 foot 11 be enough?
If your fantasy was to have sex with a black person, would a white person who's been to Malaga for two weeks count?
We are a couple that happily stipulates an age barrier. It's nothing to do with maturity or physical appearance but the simple fantasy of sleeping with people half your own age.

Dont worry Trevaunance, I dont take it as an insult... perhaps I was misunderstood.
I take issue with people who use a specific age as a sole critera, as it brings no guarantee of what they are looking for. A black person is black, and 5ft 11" person is that particular height (would heels count? ;-) )
However, all age does is guarantee how long you've been on this planet... so unless the person wants to cut someone open and count the rings, there is very little point to it. :confused:
So by all means stipulate "younger" or "older" or even an age range.... but placing a specific age seems a little odd, IMHO (no offense intended
