This isnt aimed at you Duncan, but a general overall comment picking up from what you've just said.
I think we are forgetting, or at least not giving credit, to (a) the personailities who still do lead the banter & organise Munches/ socials for everyone, those who didnt jump ship, those who stayed and persevered, impromptue-policed and banged on and on about our 'community' in the hope that it didnt dissolve completely and (b) the newer personalities who too stick with it, with 'us' and our nostalgia, and have joined into the 'community' but in way (and sometimes it does come across this way IMO) are kinda looked on as pehaps being inferior to those who have moved on from here. I too am sorry that many of the 'old regulars' have gone - but there are 'new regulars' - if we'd just let them in a bit, ya know?

I agree totally with what you say especially the last sentence. We were all new here once and yes although I agree some of the 'first' posts do leave alot to be desired IMO
and some cover topics whichhave been done before,(many times) I do wish some of the regular posters would give people a chance to find their feet, before sweeping their feet from under them.Think I'm still hungover

A huge hugethanks to db and HLB for letting the party go ahead, despite it not turning out the way they'd orignally planned. I hope things improve for you both, really soon. You're a fantastic couple.

It was great for me to be able to put alot more faces to names last night. I apologise to anyone whose chest I oggled in an attempt to learn even more. There was more than one person to whom I said "Oh so you're ............. !" Isn't it strange how no-one is ever like you expect?!
Thanks to Bernie and Bassman for inviting me to join them at their table and persuading me to join Marcuso's 'after munch' bunch.
Thanks also to everyone I chatted to and danced with, you helped make it a very enjoyable night for me. I think I could get used to this 'munching' malarky, do you think I might have the bug?
Two memories from the evening that stand out in my mind, one is that of Tattie(sp) following dammie round at very close quarters holding onto the back of his edible posing pouch and two is Morbius standing at the bar in a very fetching little black number

Not alot more I can say except that the journey home was 'different' ........... What normally takes 15/20 mins, actually turned into 40+mins! Due to the taxi driver thinking I was going somewhere completely different to where I actually live, still he didn't charge me anymore for taking me the scenic route.
Can we do it all again soon please?

Are you asking for invites to parties? Or offering them for a party? If it's the former then the best thing to do is look out for parties being posted on LMU and put your name down, then cross your fingers and hope. It's upto you to ask for invites to parties you'd like to attend and even then there is never any guarantee to being put on the list.
IMHO if
a) you post alot more and get yourself well known in the forums, tell people something about yourself other than you're a single guy
b) you're well known in the chat rooms
c) someone that is well known (to the party organisers) will vouch for you.
then there is more chance of you receiving an invite.

If you're serious about this , I have to say I find it quite disturbing and quite honsetly distasteful. How would you feel about going to see your doctor for example, for an intimate examination, if there was any chance of them becoming aroused whilst doing it??

I armed myself with a torch,in case it was dark when I got there and I was on my own, a dictionary, incase of any difficult chat type words, my bunch of skeleton keys, well you never know I could've got locked in and a pair of blinkers to shield my eyes from anything scary on cam.
Entering on server 2, it all seemed a bit echoey as there were only 2 people in there chatting and I almost bottled it,but I gritted my teeth and went in search of 'The Shed'.
And wow what a wonderful place
I was made very gave me his seat - what a gentleman, DarkFire shared her lemsip and tissues with me- although I don't have a cold, jessica-r provided the music - mmmmmmmmmmm Savage Garden, HuGh sent me a whisper ( by accident) that I didn't get but then apologised anyway - another gent and Sheddy flexed his pecs on cam - swoon.
Not a splinter or spider in sight and it was so warm in there, now that could have been the number of bodies in such a confined space, or the fact that Sheddy had admitted to being nekked on cam earlier but I think it was probably the underfloor heating. You just need a bar in there now and the GFZ will be empty of a weekend.
So thank you for my 'not so scary first time' in the 'new' chat rooms all.......... in those immortal words......... I'll be back

I've also noticed that there are fewer munches planned now too.
