I'm no expert by any means, but I can offer an opinion from my point of view. I've looked at your profile and see that you want to meet bi-fems. This could be one reason why 'you're struggling for meets' as you say. Although I think one meet in a year is quite good!
There was a whole thread done recently on similar lines, but I'm not that techy to be able to find it and link it (maybe someone else will later).
I don't know about you but if and when I swing I prefer to have some chemistry between myself and whomever I swing with. It's difficult enough to find 1 person that has that certain something, but if you're looking for a single, you both have to like them and they have to like 2 of you.
Sorry if that sounds as confusing to you as it does to me now I've read it back, but it sounded good in my head.
All I can say is don't give up, get yourself both known on the forums, in the chat rooms, if you aren't already. Put your name down for socials and munches, go to clubs and just try to enjoy the social side of swinging for a while and who knows where it might lead.
