I am gettin a bit over excited myself. Minx has mopped my face with a cold flannel, made me have a nap and taken away my wine gums.
CYA there. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Me too!! I've had to have a cold shower, a vigorous rub down with a brillo pad and Mrs Gu has locked away my collection of sniffing corks

When we cam on SH we usually would pick a No Directing room precisely for the reasons put across by Sara.
If we wished to be directed then we would pick either an ‘open’ room or a ‘directing allowed’ one.
In the case of a non-directing room we would expect anyone in there to abide by the rule of non-directing. On the flipside of the coin we could hardly complain if someone was directing if we were in an open or directing allowed room.
If someone was playing a video feed in any room then it is clearly stated in the Chat T&C’s – “Playing any type of video or displaying photos across your web cam is prohibited.”
Report the profile or advise a Chatroom Op who can investigate.
All of the above! Plus we loved it and will be back for more......
Many thanks from us as well NWC's
Mega Snogs to you both.
Yes - we use it quite often.
events > list event > type = private
when it's approved you can invite selected people
anyone else who tries to attend will be listed in the requests section - u can delete these as appropriate.
Personally, we've never had a problem arranging meets on SH (although getting some of them to actually turn up is another matter lol )
We constantly tweak our profile to reflect what we're seeking and try and provide the kind of information (verbal & visual) that will appeal to others of a like mind.
Renewing a membership is always going to be a personal decision based on any number of factors (cost, features and functions provided, other members etc.).
If we were experiencing the same problem of no meets, we would certainly be looking hard at what and how we are doing on here to rectify the problem - after all, the individual members provide the 'content' in the profiles, forums, chatrooms etc.
The old adage of you get back what you put in certainly holds true on here.
Good luck with your decision folks.

Well, we've got the time off work and have booked a room at the Hotel. I suppose we better ask if we can come!

Woohoo The Surrey Massive Goes North
I've been learning the local lingo :- should be fluent in Wiganese by the 3rd lol
Do you have the latest version of Flash Player for Linux installed?

Is the cam & driver installed properly - check the 'settings' > camera is correctly set.
Check the 'Global Settings' and add as a 'trusted location'
Try launching the Chatroom in debug mode - link under the main Chat logon box.
Have you raised a 'Support Ticket'?

I am very pleased for you Brucie.
I keep looking at ipads and thinking what would I possibly need one for. People keep telling me they are wonderful but I just dont understand any need of mine that they might fulfil.
Mind you mobile media devices have never been my bag cos the quality of the sound and visuals is shite. Id rather read a book or a kindle.
In edit I am beginning to feel like the kid in the story of the emperors new clothes so any and all views would help.

It's a public development of the old server/thin client solution that has been around for a few years now in the Enterprise solutions market. In it's current guise IT solutions companies (like 'hp') are focusing on the 'cloud' technology to take-on Apple's hardware / i-tunes store (watch out for apple's i-tunes cloud storage offering soon). Mobile devices (pads / phones / netbooks / laptops etc even the humble desktop PC) with access to the internet to store your data and move people towards a more PPU (pay per use / pay per view) business model rather than the buy and constantly upgradge model.
Currently, in the UK it would need to assume that everyone is 'connected' to highspeed broadband (read BT Infinity or Virgin Cable) or adopters of G4 mobile when it's widely available.
As usual it will fragment in to the Apple school (i-tunes store / apple tv / i-apps etc) and by the looks of it a similar service provided by Amazon (kindle e-books / lovefilm / mpeg audio / cloud storage, or a similar offering from Google.
The days of storing your own data / films / music on a home HDD are numbered.
Well as it is our postcode year at the DVLC we had better buy two new cars and have:-
GU12 HIM and GU12 HER
(makes mental note to pick up the right set of key in the morning lol )
Or we could go for:-
GU12 NOB & GU12 TIT
