Being a bit of a throwback hair is a bit of an issue and for me shaving regularly is the answer, never leaving it longer than a couple of days (any longer and stubble is rash making). And as a result I've not had a Hellrazor  problem for years.
I'm glad I'm not the only one ! (Tres difficult at times)
Seeing that photo of the Menin Gate brought back some intense memories. Some of the most beautiful and yet most moving locations I've ever visited are Commonwealth War Cemeteries. Taking time as a student over 20 years ago, to walk amongst the stones set in the sandy earth, on a glorious sunny day under an azure sky, by the sea at Gallipoli, reading the simple inscriptions, I found an experience far more powerful and personal than any poem.
Thank you for reminding me.
I've been following the thread ...
You love your Mum, she loves you. Its a mystery what happen after, but quality time that you can share while you are both together is priceless.
Some never get that choice
The very best of luck and strength and happiness to you both
Hi,
Any suggestions for dogging locations near Exeter ?
I'm in the area Friday and Saturday
Err …
Squid - Even when its called calamari - why would you :eeek:
Whelks
And Cold Fatty Ham Sandwiches
Echoing others - I happened to be working at home when the Twin Towers were hit, and saw, as millions of others must have done, the awful surreal spectacle unfold on the box, if it had been a disaster movie I'd never have believed it possible..
And like so many other I suspect, no sleep was to be had that night. I kept thinking of footage of an old grainy Fire Prevention Training Video which I'd been shown a while back, where as a fire burnt in a Brazilian tower block, a guy desperately tried to escape by climbing down, and of course slipped and fell .....
But ending on a very much lighter note, my earliest TV memory would be watching the Moon Walk in 1969 aged about 4 family gather round a black and white set
Ohh dear - hope I don't kill the thread with
ABBA ... Waterloo , Dancing Queen
Duran Duran Rio !
Blondie - Call me !
And of course Bohemian Rhapsody
Just to add a minor comment to the thread - the belief that bruising might trigger particularly breast cancer isn't new, I've come across examples (rare) in the 18th Century.
And personally I believe lifestyle and genetic makeup are the triggers - with a strong history of heart problem or cancers over the last 100 years in my family, and believing I'm the sum of the parts of past generations (over which I can do nothing) - its my free will to make choices that will make the difference.
Hmm
Sitting opposite someone who appears to be drilling for oil up their nose, and yes, who then unconcerned, eats the results of their labours
Ditto Ditto, Ears, Ditto Ditto
Ugghhh Shudder
I think the 2nd glass of wine helped - another 9/10 at least half of which were guesses
