it would be correct to say that we are in a deflationary period, a general fall in prices worldwide but the immediate benefit of which are not filtering through to the average consumer due to monopolisation of basic necessities by big business and their protection by the best politicians money can buy. i.e. transportation and energy supply.
the immediate benefits will be offset by production job losses anyway.
any fool who believes that we came out of recession after the 2007 crash of the financial markets is living in mainstream propaganda land.
the only increase in production (generally, although there will be isolated pockets i.e. jaguar landrover) will be arms production for the next war they will want to tax us for and send our kids off to die in.
there will likely be more benefits doled out to finacial institutions (too big to fail) and more austerity for the rest of us (too small to save)
we will have 12 billion in cuts and they will have more taxpayers money. funny kind of capitalism for the majority and socialism for the banks and big business.
so expect more demonisation of foreign governments and their leaders in order to justify regime change and drop democracy/peace bombs on them and expect your selected members of parliament to promise you the promised land until there are elected. just like your pensions really, disappear the day you go to collect.
unfortunately, with so many regimes armed to the teeth with nuclear weapons and washington and london hell bent on suppressing every other nation into vassel states and cash cows, we are in for a rough ride to reset the debt burden and pass it on to others.

Having listened to the 2 minute Party Political Broadcast they have just made I am re-thinking my choice.
Nothing they said as much as what they didn't say, although the Councillor who said he supports UKIP because he doesn't want houses built didn't help or the one that wants the community to make the decisions, ok I think it is important to take community opinion into account, I hope we are paying councillors a lot of money to guide us in decisions through a knowledge of a bigger picture.
For example a second runway at Gatwick, can't see the locals being too happy but the bigger picture is the effect it could have on the whole of the UK not just the local residents (who as a matter of fact would have their council tax paid for them by the airport by way of compensation) and the Councillor who wants the community to make all the decisions through referendums (ouch that could cost a fortune) or the one who is a UKIP Councillor because they work harder than any other Councillors (his words not mine)
The only good thing said was that the British People should rule Britain, but I don't see what local Councillors can do about the EU that the Government can't do, I might still vote for them but perhaps not in the local elections just the big one.
