Hi all
We bought a new mini last year. But try as i might i cant get my wife to try it out for size!!! :cry:
When we were young and not married we both had the old style mini's. Many a night was spent on the back seat, crunched up and face pressing at the back window. Oh happy times!!

So there was me thinking we could try out our new slightly larger mini.......but no :cry:
So as i dont seem to be able to road test it, i just wondered if anyone can tell me if they are better than the old ones.

But it hasn't changed at all. And i have had the all clear, so it's not as if it didn't work.
I thought that i would still get the fluid but not the thicker stuff .

This subject once came up with a group of friends (dont ask me how!)...must have been drink involved

Just wondered what all you ladies or men prefer.
Do you like your men to have a forskin or not. Having lost mine at a young age i cant ever remember having one. Not that i think i would want one. I do like the clean look and it has to be better for cleanliness?

Cant express what it was like to watch the master at work!!
He was voted the best bass player in the world shortly before he died. It was my privalge to meet him. What a great guy.

What a shock some of these kids had!!!
I am only 35 but think that our schools are to soft!
What i found a worry was....the government want 50% of kids to get a degree...ok you say!
But how about the two girls from London, they didn't even know where London was on the map. Now by the above figures one of these will get a degree!!!!!!!
Bring back the cane and chuck out all this PC crap.
I look forward to seeing how they all get on!

Well most of the time i would say i go on first impressions. But i have also got it wrong on a few occasions.
I think it also depends when and where you meet people.
We all have bad days and if you get someone on a bad day that could give you a different feel about them.
My first impressions of you are...very sexy

Then when i got to the test center....no air con no windows and how hot was it yesterday!!!! just to make you sweat more i think.
Well i am pleased to say i got 35 out of 35 in the theory and 54 out of 75(44needed) in the hazard perception.
One thing i will say....if any of you are going to take this test buy the cd rom and interactive dvd from the DSA (you book your test with them. They are worth every penny...Well nearly £30 for the pair.
They give you all the possible questions you could be asked in the same format as the test. The hazard perception part is a killer if you have not done it before.
As a car driver you see hazards all the time, but then try and click on them when you see them and you must not over click. So on one clip(14 in total) i scored zero as they said i had over clicked....A very fine line i think!!
But hey i passed :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Now i have just got to take my road test.

Just sitting here a bit nervous, as i am taking my theory test today to take my bike test.
I haven't taken a test like this since leaving school.....oh so many years ago. well almost 20.
I have been driving a car for 18 years. Just hope i can pass today so that i can then take my bike test.
I will let you know how it goes!
