David Bowie would be at the top of my list.
But Deep Purple, King Crimson and The Enid would be close smile

BLOODY HELL!!!
I know someone else that has even heard of let alone like The Enid!!!
I thought I might be the only one!!!
Good on ya flower!!!

Have you ever had to put a brave face on something because of the image that other folk have of you???
Errr, no! All my mates know I'm a wimp!!!

I seem to be regarded by some people as being the 'fearless racing biker'type, regularly kicking danger in the balls etc etc etc (a load of o'l bollox, but still!!)
But don't destroy the image of us rough, tough bikers to strangers though geezer!!!
Good luck with the op chief.
You can only try to help her to help herself.
Don't feel you HAVE to do something about it.
Just be there to support her and keep trying to advise her (but don't overdo it!!!) If she knows you have her best interests at heart she might listen to you or come to you for that help she needs to do what you think is right.
But be aware that some people have to REALLY plumb the depths before they actually do anything to make their lives better. Sometimes, changes are really hard to make when you are low or depressed.
Just keep being there for her Kat.
I love to receive unexpected, sexy texts. It's just that I never do!!!
I've always found I waffle too much so texts just take me soooo long to prepare. Plus I've got fat thumbs!!! redface
My ex always seemed to want to discuss & resolve our marital problems by text!!! confused
Hours of Marriage Guidance Counselling yet she wanted to solve everything in 450 characters!!!??? rolleyes
I really like too many bands to be able to pick out THE best.
Plus, with me being stuck musically in the 80’s at the latest, most people tend to associate the groups I like with now rather than what they were creating in, what I regard, as their heyday!!!
But, if push came to shove, I’d be able to cut a list of hundreds down to two groups whose music will always ‘do something’ for me :-
Status Quo (their pre 1982 material and especially live) banghead
and Rush (everything before 1989) cool
When I was younger and much sportier I had to win anything I played.
I might not have been that good at the sport but I would always try way to hard, get pissed off if I lost and always want a re-match.
I didn't really do team sports except football & cricket because I wanted any success or failure to be purely down to me.
I was the same in any sport, be it badminton, squash, tennis, snooker/pool, motorcycle racing, fencing, athletics.
But now I'm an older git I really don't give a shit!!!
Oh, and all my music CD's have to be in alphabetical order.
But that's just sensible 'cos it would take so bloody long to find a particular one otherwise!!!
Bloody hell!!! I think it would be quicker to type my “What I’ve Done” list rather than a “To Do” list!!! redface
Just randomly & intermittently floating around the social side of this site for a couple of years means I haven't started to actively try to tick many of these boxes!!!
Some of my list might surprise most of you in their normality but I’ve led a very sheltered life  with some very straight-laced g/f’s & wife!!! But here goes anyway and in no particular order :-
perform anal sex on a lady (yep! Never done it!!!)
it’s over 10 years since a lady has swallowed my cum during a BJ so that would be nice again
be a voyeur – watch a couple in their own house
watch two ladies enjoying each other
be tied to a bed while a lady does whatever she wants to me
join another bloke to both unselfishly completely satisfy his woman as best we can – including DP & a spit roast
watch a g/f of mine be shagged by another bloke
dogging.
I think that'll do for starters, eh?!!! surprisedops:

I met up with some friends from here on Saturday night and quite a few of them asked me how I felt about having anal sex next week... lol
Just to make it clear, this thread was started 2 YEARS ago!!! LoL

So does this mean you are an expert now?!!!

:giggle:
I'm such a romantic, ain't I?!!! :rose:
I've just posted on an old 'Anal Sex' thread and now I come across a 'Fisting' thread!!!
Just two of the things near the top of a very long list of "Things A Very Boring Old Git Has Never Done Sexually - But Would Love To Try"!!!
With the right person I am very much into prolonged foreplay (passions allowing, of course!!! redface ) and the experience of taking the time, care & patience to pleasure a woman from something quite extreme as fisting must be incredibly enjoyable for the man. It would certainly appeal to my nature, to give a lady such intense pleasure and have to work at it to ensure it is enjoyable AND safe for her.
To be that relaxed and secure with a partner must be incredibly intimate & trusting.
Mmmm, I'm glad someone bumped this old thread as it makes interesting reading for me 'cos my current favourite fantasy is to experience giving a willing lady a little anal fun. hump
It will be the first time for me 'cos all previous g/f's and the wife have never been interested. (Well, I must admit, I never really gave it much thought 'til several years ago!!!) redface
I have a couple of friends on here who enjoy a little bum-love so hopefully we can get it together & I can put into practice all the advice given in this thread!! rotflmao
I'll get me lube ready for her & look forward to my next meeting with a renewed vigour!!! lol
I've been giving blood for over 20 years now, except for a brief hiatus after having a tattoo, so hopefully loads of patients have benefited from my precious plasma & platelets!!!
I’ve never had a problem with needles or blood but I can understand why others do. The ex used to faint at the sight of a needle!!!
When I was much younger & sportier (and not covered by quite so much fat!!!) the hospital always used to let the trainees practice on me ‘cos the veins in my arms were so prominent!!! They were a real easy target for first timers!!!
Now I’m a sad old git I only go to get a cup of tea & a biscuit and try, in vain, to chat up a young nurse!!!

Thanks!! She is known as the 'Scarlet Woman'!!
Littleme.. only 120?? still in 4th gear then!!

Gimme a break shark!!! It was ONLY a little 600 & it was over 10 years ago!!! lol
Plus it was an old SLR camera strapped to me tank bag with just a 10 second timer!!!
Now if someone were to lend me their 'Scarlet Woman' I'm sure the dials would be on MUCH bigger numbers!!!

It's an on bike photo doing about 120 on a road in the Isle of Man.
It's not very clear that small but you can just about see the white dials on the speedo & rev counter. My bottle wasn't quite enough to time a pic of the bike maxed out coming down to the famous Creg Ny Baa!!!

I've just got over a great cold which lasted a week.
2-3 sleepless nights coughing & snotty and a right croaky voice for 3-4 days.
Normally a cold lasts about 2 days with me!!!

Ok I must be the odd one out - this thread has just left me with the question "Who wanks to music?" dunno

I can't say I've ever put any particular music on to wank too. And even if there is some already playing I don't even notice it, tooo busy concentrating on what I'm doing I guess!!!
Now I could listen to a ladies voice telling me what she wants me to do to her. That's nice to listen to while I entertain myself!!!

err... littlemee.. I think that you are going to have to admit to the fact that all your albums are in alphabetical order..... bolt

If there are any SH socials to rock concerts anywhere then please let me have a PM 'cos reliving my youth, air guitar and some relentless head banging is just what I need at the moment!!!
Come on SH.......lets RAWK!!!!
A bit late I know but many thanks to Sarah & everyone involved in sorting out the Munch.
Another brilliantly organised do. A very belated Happy Birthday as well Sarah. (sorry)
It was nice to meet & chat with the people I did and apologies to those I was gonna try to meet but didn't. I'm sure you didn't miss me!!!
Two Munches down and I'm still like a rabbit in the headlights but at least I made it to this one on my ownsome (which took some doing I can tell you!!!) but thanks to the lovely lady that helped settle me in for the evening. kiss
I sympathise with you Mr. Pole ‘cos I’m in a similar situation myself. Not quite as long lasting as yourself but still intense enough for me to be driving me nuts!!!
I think the world of this lady & she knows it but she has a complicated life at the moment and I feel I’m just an added complication for her.
I keep feeling I should step away and leave her to get on with things but I really can’t do it. She says she wants me in her life which is good enough for me at the moment.
The thing which is really doing my head in is I feel really guilty that I’m longing for her current relationship to fail totally so we might have a chance of being together some time in the future. I sincerely want her to be happy but I am wishing this unhappiness on her so we might be together!!!
I feel a complete shit sometimes.
At the moment all I can do is like Sassy says, be her friend, be there for her when she needs me but not make any demands on her or pressure her in any way. “They say good things come to those who wait so just hold out and see what happens. If someone told me that my mate would choose me eventually but I'd have to wait 5 years, I'd buy a big book and be patient. She's worth every to quote you Sassy kiss but that sums it up perfectly for me to.
Good luck to you thepole & I hope things work out for you.

.........Well sadly I have decided that my marriage wasn't doing me nor my wife any good. We gave it our best and even seeked outside help several times but there's a time when you have to accept the facts.
I'm getting divorced.
Emotionally I'm likely to be a mindfield - so I'm still not likely to play but I'll start enjoying myself by going to socials and munches smile

Sorry to read this 36.
I know how it feels as I'm mid-divorce at the moment after finally separating last June.
Took me a while but things are brighter now & Munch No.2 is tomorrow (no , I mean today!!!) :bounce:
I hope you start enjoying yourself real soon.
All the best
Bugger!!! My partner for the night, Alleyson, has had to cancel.
No way am I missing the Munch so I'm gonna have to come to my 2nd ever Munch on my own-some!!!
Luckily I don't live far away so I can get rat-arsed drunk and still stagger home safely.
That should help cure SOME of my nerves.
So if you see me in the Munch be nice, be gentle, 'cos I'm on me own!!!

.........if Bob calls Eve a 'tart' is that an insult. If so is the insult in the word, or is it the mind of Bob or the mind of Adam who hears it?

In my formative years in South London, 'tart' can be used without any derogatory implications at all. It is the equivalent of 'geezer' for a man.
Hence, nowadays I still use these terms for men & women & people are aghast at my political incorrectness.
Like I care!!! lol
