Having read all of the replies I thought I would put my twopenneth in!!!!!!
Hubby and I do both seperate and same room, we get different things out of the different experiences, I love watching him with another woamn and also joining in where I can but I also enjoy the thrill of hearing the excitement from a different room and knowing later I will hear about it, but nothing is ever pre planned we just go with the flow so to speak.
I will add that we would never do seperate rooms on a first meet though mainly because of the safety aspect.

I agree wholeheartedly with Bari, as long as you are open and honest with the other couple they shouldnt have a problem with it.
I dont think you are selfish at all, you are just finding your feet and wanting to experiment, although I enjoy going down on other wommen now, I struggled with it for a long time before I felt able to and comfortable with the idea.

My mum is really odd, she knows I swing and accepts it completely but she has a real problem with my sister who swings. How odd is that???????

My hubby and I introduced my sister and her hubby to swinging and we have agreed that we certainly wouldnt swing with each other - ewwwwwwwwww- but I know people who know us both particularly men would like to see it. I can honestly say that my brother in law does nothing for me.
We have met with the same couple once or twice just on different occasions.
It is just a case of establishing ground rules as you do with any other people you meet anyway.

you could also try aqueous cream for the itching worked wondered when i had chicken pox last year.
