I get a lot of laptops in for repair that other shops have give up on , it seems some pc shops dont know how to repair something as simple as a voltage regulating IC but hey more business for me smile

having said that i feel sorry for those that do spend Â£150 on a new motherboard as when graphics chips die ( usually because of poor maintainence on the cooling system)there isnt much else can be done.

I read them from time to time but it takes time to sort out the rubbish and incomprehensible ones. Some are very good.

you can actually use your ipod touch wirelessly using internet connection sharing, basically the dongle is your internet connection and you share it through the laptops wirless connection.

your best bet is to download the viewer from microsoft, link in previous post. It allows you to view and print any word document up to 2007 but not edit.

which version of word are you trying to open them with?

with certain phones connecting to some older phones you can even make a call on the other phone using bluetooth :!: but the older phones that can be used in this way are few n far between now

We had a great evening with some great company on the Friday night, some good laughs too, we even managed to understand most of what was said lol

shame we both had to work Saturday, we missed out on some nice weather too.

Also google tells me that it is important to cross-reference the supported video resolutions of the HP Compaq thin client to the supported resolutions of the monitor. Most HP monitors have one or more supported resolutions that match HP Compaq thin client products.

Ok its a HP t5630 and it can support 1280 x 1024 but in linux with the legacy vesa driver i only get 800 x 600 , i have the driver that via recomend but it wont work rolleyes

I have a HP thinclient which I have installed with minty linux as a persistent installation on a usb flash drive. All is well except the video is not up to much. If i install the video driver as supported by via for the vx800 motherboard, all goes as expected except the driver does not appear in the list of hardware drivers. I have tried the auto debian installer as well as command line.
Any ideas?

we got a tomtom one xl with slutty sylvia voice lol, and a few others, I (john) have tomtom 7 mobile phone as a backup n sara has copilot on her mobile as backup for the backup, we travel a lot lol

I have an HTC TyTn II
It has Tomtom 7 satnav, uses windows mobile so integrates with my laptop well and is wifi.
Its a bit chunky but its touchscreen and has a full slide out qwerty keyboard. I've had it over 18 months and its still available on contract under its various guises, mine is badged Vodafone v1615 but other networks have there own names for it.

I will submit my ransom demands for the safe return of said dickie in due course. I am sure it will involve rogering and lezzering. I am just cutting up the newpaper to get the right letters to cut and stick onto the ransom note. I am struggling with the z's though, so lezzering may prove a tad difficult but you will get the picture ;)
