OK, I just re-read that...not particularly well expressed - apologies.
Using fora etc is of course advisable and some correspondence with someone is a good idea...anything to get to know someone better. But I have spoken to women who have met guys and couples with minimal introductions and that's what I was alluding to.
Perhaps 'astonished' is too strong a wrong word, I guess I'm just old fashioned enough to think that single women have to be *really* careful. No harm/offence intended.
