Last night I had the wierdest dream - and why I want to share it with you guys I have no idea! But then who else do I tell?
In the dream I was driving my car, negotiating roundabouts and stop signs and at the same time I was talking on the phone - not on my mobile, but on my landline. (I hope you can't be done for using a phone whilst driving in a dream!) Okay, not so wierd so far? At the same time as driving and chatting I was also frying bacon and eggs on my lap! Please - no comments about groin heat and hot pussy!
There have been several comments in the GFZ and elsewhere about the female of the species' ability to multi-task. I have to say this can be taken to extremes!
So, any dream analysts out there?

Driving the car...relates to negotiating around things and achieving a goal, getting somewhere..The phone is down to pure communicational needs and contacts...and the cooking is your need to satisfy a hunger/to nurture your abilities and creativity......

Thanks for the reading, Rocky. What you say does make sense. Curious that it was bacon and eggs - the ultimate comfort food (apart from chocolate of course). Communication I have - but the ultimate goal? Ah, now that escapes me. I can't remember if I had fog lights on in the car.

Have you had to travel anywhere in your car recently where you've had to use your phone on the way and someone cooked bacon & eggs? Somewhere where you might have had a pleasant experience perhaps?

Mmm, very interesting thought Member_5000. All this is absolutely true, and as I recall the experience was extremely pleasant. Maybe the subconcious isn't that deep after all! However, I do think that Rocky has some valid points though in the light of recent events.
Gman, there wasn't anything significant about the car, and as for the landline, well we all have the ties that bind.
Perhaps I'll dream tonight of where I was going, who I was speaking to and why I was cooking. If it happens I'll post the answers!

Being a farming type , I'm well qualified:
-I'm used to getting up before dawn (so I'll be there in plenty of time to sharpen your rapier)
-I've done lots of fencing (ok, it was with barbed wire and posts but don't get picky)
-I'm used to cleaning up blood, guts and bits of carcase

Sappho I could not agree with you more but I have been challenged, by some aged poet ... I believe of your acquaintance... most un necessarily in that he assumes I made unwarranted advances upon you sweet person. I have called upon him to call offf this folly but to date i have heard nothing... does he not realise i am trained in un armed combat.... and that my hands are licensed... It matters not a jot to me that you are trained in unarmed combat. Will is a master not only of the sword but also of the pen and as such seduced me long before I met him.
He is also aware that strength can be silent. The ranging torrent sweeps all before it in tumult and little of worth remains. I prefer calmer waters.
