As most ladies will agree, if you're looking good, you're feeling good, and if you're feeling good, you're feeling sexy. Feeling sexy means confidence and being confident means you look good. With me so far?
Okay, so all that is easy if you're planning a night out or you have a special occasion to go to, but what about everyday? At work for instance? Whether you're in mufti or in a uniform, it can be difficult to retain that sexy feeling in your work clothes.
I work in an office environment generally and I deal with the public so I have to dress appropriately, but I spent so many years as frumpette I'm damned if I'll do the dowdy anymore. So, whilst my skirts are a decent length and cleavage ('What cleavage?' I hear Will ask - SLAP!) and bare skin is kept to a minimum, I pay attention to how I feel in my clothes and my general appearance.
Nobody knows about the lingerie and stockings under the pinstripe suit, but I do and that's what counts. I feel more confident in my outward appearance of efficiency knowing I feel like a sex kitten underneath.
So girls, you know you're a sex goddess under the workgear and it does put a spring in your step during the dreary nine to five! How do you retain your femininity at work, and give yourself the feel good factor - or am I being narcissistic and it doesn't matter?

I know exactly what you mean Sappho. I wear a uniform for work and it's difficult to feel attractive or sexy when you're dressed the same as all the other girls. Especially when so many of them are so young and slim with their make up done and straightened hair. I've never been one to wear make up for work though, and although my skirts are a decent length, the split at the back would stop me from wearing stockings and suspenders even if I wanted to.
I think there are too many men where I work for me to get away with that if I was to try so I'll leave it with the thoroughly un-sexy tights I wear now. The blouses provided are too flimsy for me to wear anything but plain bras as well, so I'm never going to have the sexy undies on there. However, in a different workplace, it would possibly be a different story :twisted:
For now, my one concession to feeling sexy(ish) at work are the stupidly high heeled shoes I always wear. Most of the other girls wear trousers and "sensible" shoes. (I did get some trousers as part of my uniform but they are the most unflattering trousers I've ever had so I never wear them) and I save my nice undies and make up for outside the workplace.

I wear what I like to work but my heels are a must (also being 5ft 2 and working with 120 males :shock: I need height).
Underwear and heels definitely and I'm friends with the flirts and that helps.
SH has done me the world of good too ... for exactly the reasons Sappho said ... I feel sexy, people notice and comment and it makes me feel confident, which makes me feel sexier .... and so on.
Sappho... I may be in a minority here... but a woman in a pinstripe suit is sex on legs however much she covers up. There is something about dressing very smart that makes people instantly attractive... and for the reasons you gave, confident, good and sexy.

I once wore 'ladies' underwear when I went to Rocky Horror themed party in the midlands. That's the one and only time but I'm sure I could be persuaded to do it again under the right circumstances ;).
All I was saying is that I can imagine the difference in feelings between the supermarket checkout girl wearing her flat shoes, opaque black wooly tights and dunghamper knickers to the girl wearing heels, stockings and a thong. Same outward appearance but the buzz must be fantastic.

Must admit that 'working Misschief' is appalling! 
Mornings are spent chivvying the kids along, while chucking on my stuff, brushing my hair, putting on a bit of token make up and getting a caffine fix.
Once kids are dropped, I get to work and then have to run the gauntlet through chicken and peahen pooh, whilst being herded by a nutty sheepdog with 3 teeth (the 4th is in my car tyre ) Even worse when its raining and muddy and end up with black paw prints all over me from the other dog, the one that thinks I'm playing cos I'm hopping over chicken pooh and puddles (at the same time trying to dodge sheepdogs teeth/gums). Thats just to get in the office (same thing on the way out too :roll: so predictable).
Once in the office I just work with a couple of other women - also sporting the same paw print marks as myself. Then usually back out the office, get remainder of chicken pooh off feet and fetch cloth to wash pooh off the carpet. Begin work.

Err I already did reply to this thread..... I see no reason why men cant wear sexy undies as well... we might not get such a great choice, but there is still a difference between frumpy man pants and nice pants... not to mention Marks and Spencers line of mens g-strings :shock: :shock: :shock:

I`m afraid I don`t bother, I`m just a natural scruff. I rarely wear underwear, only put a bra on when I leave the house, and the last time I wore makeup...............was at the last Munch I think, it was eyeliner, and then I had to borrow it!
Mars always makes me feel sexy when he comes home from work though, and this gives me the confidence to carry it off regardless

What I wear to work can be a wide and varied choice... sometimes I wear jeans, jogging bottoms, skirt, nightie or pyjamas... depending on how I feel... and GT... all he wears sometimes to work is his dressing gown/house coat... call it what you will and nuffink else! Working from home means you can dress up or dress down and the afternoon 'fun shift' is a big bomus let me tell ya! :twisted:

Whoever said earlier that it doesn't work for blokes is talking bollocks. At least in my opinion. I have some underwear that I sometimes wear to my part-time job (serving the public in Farnham, Surrey) or down the pub on a Friday/Sat. night out that always makes me feel sexy (the choice is growing too). Men don't get nearly enough choice in this department - unfair. I think it took me a few hours alone to find and browse all the (non-serious-fetish anyway) stuff available online...
