As most ladies will agree, if you're looking good, you're feeling good, and if you're feeling good, you're feeling sexy. Feeling sexy means confidence and being confident means you look good. With me so far?
Okay, so all that is easy if you're planning a night out or you have a special occasion to go to, but what about everyday? At work for instance? Whether you're in mufti or in a uniform, it can be difficult to retain that sexy feeling in your work clothes.
I work in an office environment generally and I deal with the public so I have to dress appropriately, but I spent so many years as frumpette I'm damned if I'll do the dowdy anymore. So, whilst my skirts are a decent length and cleavage ('What cleavage?' I hear Will ask - SLAP!) and bare skin is kept to a minimum, I pay attention to how I feel in my clothes and my general appearance.
Nobody knows about the lingerie and stockings under the pinstripe suit, but I do and that's what counts. I feel more confident in my outward appearance of efficiency knowing I feel like a sex kitten underneath.
So girls, you know you're a sex goddess under the workgear and it does put a spring in your step during the dreary nine to five! How do you retain your femininity at work, and give yourself the feel good factor - or am I being narcissistic and it doesn't matter?

Roger, I'm so sorry to have to be the one that breaks this to you, but I'm a week shy of 34 and a size 16/18. Sadly no longer a 17 year old wearing a size 10......... then again I don't want to be her any more, I quite like being the new me, sexy undies or not
 So that's why I have been feeling crap lately
Wilma shuffles off to throw out the old apple catchers and try on the dental floss thongy thingies.
:giggle:

I once wore 'ladies' underwear when I went to Rocky Horror themed party in the midlands. That's the one and only time but I'm sure I could be persuaded to do it again under the right circumstances ;).
All I was saying is that I can imagine the difference in feelings between the supermarket checkout girl wearing her flat shoes, opaque black wooly tights and dunghamper knickers to the girl wearing heels, stockings and a thong. Same outward appearance but the buzz must be fantastic.

The 'thrill' we're talking about isn't about wearing sexy underwear per se. It's about wearing underwear that makes you feel sexy and the difference it makes when you're dealing with the 'general public'.
Male underwear is just male underwear as far as I'm concerned, when we go to work it's the outward appearance that matters. It doesn't matter whether you're wearing boxers, briefs or a g-string, I don't believe for a minute that you're thinking to yourself "if only this person knew what I was wearing underneath this uniform".
Bit different for the girls though.........I can understand the thrill.

so true about feeling sexy when you think you look good.
i work in a uniform and always wear nice undies, make-up and not forgetting smelling nice which makes me feel notice if you make the effort too which is a great confidence boost.

What I wear to work can be a wide and varied choice... sometimes I wear jeans, jogging bottoms, skirt, nightie or pyjamas... depending on how I feel... and GT... all he wears sometimes to work is his dressing gown/house coat... call it what you will and nuffink else! Working from home means you can dress up or dress down and the afternoon 'fun shift' is a big bomus let me tell ya!
I am in complete agreement with Sappho on this.
For years I dressed 'normally' or 'sensibly' - but I felt a frump. I had never lost my weight after having my last daughter and am still 2 sizes bigger than I was back then. I had no confidence, hated how I looked etc etc.
One day after a long bout of vertigo, I .........
went to the hairdressers, had my greying, long brown hair chopped and highlighted
renewed all my lingerie
bought skirts with slits
vowed never to wear tights ever again
learnt to walk in high heels again
I felt a new woman!
Now I mostly wear skirts to work, normally show some cleavage, always wear stockings (with a suspender belt), wear a thong not apple catchers (tm Wilma) and narrow heels. It makes me feel good, more confident.
I work in an office which is 90% male and most of my team are at least 10 years younger tham me. It can be fun!
Sappho is correct - sexy underwear makes you feel sexy, and when you feel sexy, you ooze sensuality and confidence. And that is an attractive quality which can be felt by most people you come into contact with.

Whoever said earlier that it doesn't work for blokes is talking bollocks. At least in my opinion. I have some underwear that I sometimes wear to my part-time job (serving the public in Farnham, Surrey) or down the pub on a Friday/Sat. night out that always makes me feel sexy (the choice is growing too). Men don't get nearly enough choice in this department - unfair. I think it took me a few hours alone to find and browse all the (non-serious-fetish anyway) stuff available online...
One of mine in particular is my fave colour, lovely shiny material; isn't so simple when you want to take a piss but does wonders for my confidence/flirtiness.
I go to the gents and (assuming noone else there) sometimes take a peek down my trousers just to see them on me and remind myself what they look like/that noone else knows (ok, you do now - but you don't know which shop...)
I'd love to know that an attractive girl was wearing sexy underwear underneath something, say happen to catch sight of it during readjustment of garments but noone else apart from me and her know - then to go chat her up and with it going swimmingly well make a subtle comment or two to hint I know...
I have pics of my faves on my seeking-females locations-advert (see sig for link) if you fancy a gander. And anyone know of any particularly nice ones (value the lady's opinions here) for blokes or have faves?
Whatever I wear, it looks like a sack on me………
