That's exactly what I thought when I last saw the mother in law...
...bugger, given the game away now. I hope the fuzz don't monitor this page!

Not the best of years here. The plum tree has about 20 unripe fruit on it, last year we were filling carrier bags up. The apples (cooking and eating) are there but seem to be smaller.
Tomatoes and radish have been a disaster, especially the toms which flatly refuse to ripen.
Indoors, our peppers and chilis have faired better but haven't produced the expected quantity although the chilis are still pretty hot.
Just another observation, we have got some trees whose leaves have been changing from green to red for the last week or so, that's at least a month earlier than the last couple of years.
Anyone else feel like we have been cheated out of a summer? Global warming? Pah
mad :x :x

Your ability to fart a tune will remain, never fear.
Tomatoes coming thick and fast. Had two giant gorgeous beef toms with our steak for dinner this evening.
Lots of beans coming, not my fave, but Harry likes them.
After a very.....very delayed kick off, the chillies have finally come into their own. Can't wait 'til they start turning colour......beautiful.
Otherwise a generally poor summer again.....think I may invest in rice and plant up a paddy or two cool
