Just had mine chopped.
I can last about 8 weeks before I get tickly bits over my ears.
Cheers

Edit: Because I'm an idiot, of course.
Just had mine chopped, too - last weekend (thanks, Jas! :lovesmile. Before that, my last haircut had been in September of 2001. :P

how about pubes? how long before they get in the way?
rolleyes
I (Clyde) cut my own hair about every three weeks just a quick go over with the shaver not to the bone though usually grade 1. I would like to grow my hair but it is so thick if I leave it much longer than that I look like I've got a crash helmet on.
I do it myself once every few weeks with the clippers. - I can't be doing with sitting round in a chair having someone fuss over me. - I feel much the same about massages as well, I must be the only person to leave a massage table more stressed than when I arrived! rolleyes

Ooops, sorry, I was referring to hairdressers! I cut my own whenever it pisses me off enough to want to hack at it!

Hate to hijack my own thread, but to expand the topic to embarassing haircuts I can own up to the following:
A side parting (I had no choice, I was a child)
Flat-top* (yes, really it was my mid teens)
Long 'laughing cavalier' style ringlets (natural I stress, my uni years of course)
Beat those horrors...
Cheers

*They even cut it with a big comb which had a spirit level in. That IS flat.
Last October and I guess I should go again rolleyes
Dawn dunno
My hairdresser (okay - she's really a barber) always laughs when I walk through the door and shouts across to me "tickling your ears again then?". Hate my hair on my ears!!
Been trying to grow my hair over winter - but am already going "nah - gotta go back to short and spiky soon". I have this desire to grow it, but i just hate that "in between" stage.
Rainbows strikes Kat off list of willing volunteers for her massage course cool

why not bend the tops of your ears over and cellotape them down to give yourself a few more weeks growing time to see if that will get you over the 'in-between stage' Rainbows.

I'm with your hairdresser on this one Rainbows, I'm not so keen on girls with hairy ears either.

I (dan) have cut my own hair since I was 18 so not been to barbers in a long time.
But I do just keep it short so it is easy to do it myself.
I do however like other people (I trust  ) to shave my pubes for me.
Any offers hump

Have shared all 3 of your haircuts COTN in my past years.
Currently thinking of 'buzzing' it all off over the next few weeks but if not, it get's cut every 5 weeks and I keep the sides in trim with clippers in between. I also got bought one of those things that does your nose hair for Christmas but don't like it as it feels funny

I would strongly recommend against such a drastic course of action... mad ...prior to submitting "before" photos and letting Vix & me have our say, that is. ;)

For you - I shall make an exception. You will just have to make sure that the last little massage is a real 'Stress Reliever' wink
