Ooooh!! Many times on Coronation Street, as an extra, driving vehicles up and down the street.
I once did an item about Shut'n cut cars that was shown on Sky News. My mate rang me up and said that I was being shown every 15 minutes throughout the morning. I was working at the time so I nipped home and set the video to record Sky News for the whole of the afternoon.
I ended up with a 6 hour video of the Cardinal Basil Hulme's Funeral, because they decided to bury him on the afternoon when I was making my star appearance!! evil
I have been on Clapperboard when I was a kid, and was shown leaving Old Trafford after United had lost in the Champions League Semi Final a few years ago. I have done a quick interview on MUTV and ......................... I can't think of anything else a the moment. confused :? :? :? :? lol

In the dim and distant year of 1973 I appeared on BBC south as part of a 9 piece band.
Taped the show and cherished the video for months. Then my sister taped bloody Eastenders over it.

No, don't worry that my mother in law has had a stroke and you've kept her in a wheelchair in the corridor for over an hour but you can afford to spend thousands on Koi Carp and 'art' to impress the PM.
Me mate was in one of the old 'chicken tonight' ads, pretending to be a chicken in the Arndale Centre in Manchester.
My daughter's school nativity was featured in a local news programme about paedophiles and video cameras. Nice.

Sorry Hun never meant it to sound that way! When I think back yes the first time I saw myself on TV it was dead exciting, now days I'm just so used to it sorry! To me it was a job for which I go well paid for so I did it but I have refused to go back for the next series because to be quite honest I can do with out the hassle. One half hour programme is a weeks worth of work. Mind you BBC catering is fab!!!!!
I was actually on TV when I was in the army cadets redface . Doing the September !!th memorial parade. I have the video. Wasnt sure if I still had it but I just looked it out and Im quite proud of myself actually. I look quite smart in my kakhi uniform, shirt, sweater, trousers and disgusting black boots, and my wee berry thing. Marching through the own centre with my back scarily straight and my head held high.
Stop just in front of the memorial stand and wait. Then me and a fellow cadet walk up the stairs and place a reef at the foot of the memorial then turn and salute. biggrin .
Aww, they were the days!!! rolleyes
redface
