Wow, checked out that link and you got a serious collection of toys!!!! I'm so jealous. Also noticed the african grey parrot on the kit list, they are soooo cool when they improvise along with people playing music (A friend's next door neighbour used to have one that would come up with with great melodies for our songs)

The African Grey parrot's name was "Tacuma" - named after bassist Jamaaladeen Tacuma - and provided inspiration for countless melodies. In fact, she single-handedly (or -clawedly) composed the entire lead section of the CTgoWest track on . At one point, I'd written a program to invert the spectrum of whatever she whistled and delay it by a few seconds so she could sing couterpoint to herself. Because of this, she became the only non-human composer to be profiled in Symbolic Sound's Eighth Nerve journal of electronic music!

Sadly, I had to give her up when I moved to the UK a few years ago, along with the vast majority of my studio toys. I've thus scaled down to a VWE PowerMac upon which I write most of my own music and signal processing software. I'm currently working on an updated version of the biosensor-driven MindSong system mentioned on the CT site, as well as a number of other bioacoustic and sound therapy applications. Still, I'd love to get back to making my own music once again someday...
