just had a email in tonight from a single male telling us about himself ans his tackle, what really annoys me is we have never even spoke on here before ,ya know not evevn a hello-what sort of things are you into anything like that , no its straight inwith iam xxx fromxxx i have 8 in xxxxx, well he must have great chat up line we all must learn from ya. any way you know who you are (if ya actually ever read the forum) all we can say is sad sad and very sad

I used to find it funny when people randomly added me to msn.. it was always the same.. I'd be asking them where they got my addy from and they'd be scared to admit it.. then we'd go through the whole rigmorole of 'no i don't have pics. no I don't cam, yes I have a fella, no I'm not looking for someone to join us.......'
(I only do it now when I'm really bored..)

It is wonderful when one does get a lovly message telling you the things that you want to hear. It is good when someones personality comes through in the message. When that happens, yes, we both read it and think, hey this guys seems really nice and take things from there. If they have bothered to take the time to sell themselves to us in the first message then we really appreciate them for it.

When I get one of those these days, I reply with a very formal "Welcome to Swinging Heaven" standard response, tagged off with "If I, or any of the other Moderators can help you..." type thing.

Being a single male i can only imagine how annoying these messages can i doubt very much that the topic would of been raised had the message been from a woman stating the size of her breasts and where she was from.
That said iam not making excuses for the single guys on here and i for one have never sent anyone a message starting " the size of my tackle is".

Yes, but single women are very rare in this game - people have to either "make do" with the ones that fling themselves at them or do without. Whilst for fellas, there's enough of them throwing themselves around that one or more is bound to hit on the right combination of vowels and consanants eventually.

In defence of the innocent single guys (and there are one or two genuine single guys out there) I have to say that I have recieved some very short and to the point messages from fems and couples too. I usually just put it down to inexperience or over-enthusiasm, well we all had to start somewhere.
Whatever we do in life we will always have to deal with the 'wanna-be', the 'tourist', the 'immature idiot', the 'attention seeker' and so on...... Life is too short to let it get you down! Just focus on the things that make you smile smile

and use the delete button for the rest.

I think it just goes to show that while the internet is an instant(ish) medium that raises expectations about getting instant results, there is no substitute for getting to know someone.

This indeed is a very interesting social behaviour point - that should not be underestimated. The briefness of text messaging, the instant access of the internet. There is a new generation of people who just do not know how to communicate in any extended form. Then there are the ones who are just desperate and pushy!!!!
