I have a question.... Is it possible to meet someone from sh.. and have a proper relationship with them... The reason im asking.. is im fed up being single, its no fun anywmore... i want to share the experiences i have with someone instead of just on my own... Im ready after all these years not to be alone.. an now im ready what are my chances.... LOL...?

It has happened, SH has seen a few marriages now.

However it is frowned upon to actively seek relationships off the scene, esp if your not honest about your intentions. I think some single men and women really should be on dating sites rather then on the scene, as many have no intention of swinging at all. In the midlands room we often call them SWONGERS, or if any of us feel brave, bunny boilers lol.
Saying this though, i have seen some fantastic relationships blossum on the scene. But these couples were never actively seeking each other, its simply a case of them finding something they never intented to find and taking that risk that they never intended to do. I'm very happy for them xx

I'm always puzzled by the people who do this, surely they should be on a dating site. Some even say specifiaclly in their profile that they're not looking to play but desire a more committed relationship. Why be here then?
However there have been many who have discovered their 'other halves' on here and that is really great. We have recently seen couples getting together who have been completely surprised by the turn of events, and that's been a wonderful surprise.

I'm kind of in between on this one. I'm also a bit fed up with being single but I don't want a 'boyfriend' in the traditional sense. It would be nice to have someone you could meet regularly, to swing with but do other stuff with too. You can't really look for that on a traditional dating site, I have used one and all the guys just wanted a traditional relationship, to settle down and have kids :shock:

No you're not strange for wanting it at all, and not all men fall in one camp or the other as you've described. However on this site there are many who just want to fuck as many people as possible, but I keep hoping they're in a minority.
I find it quite depressing that there aren't enough people who see this site as somewhere to make lots of friends AND be able to have sex with them as well.

Well speaking as a single guy who was married for quite a while and for the moment has no wish to go down that route again, but would also like to have some friends with benefits :rascal: If you know what I mean. An SH singles night was suggested some time back in a similar thread. At the time I was single and wanted to meet someone but knew they would have to be a swinger as I had no intention to go back to vanillaland! Not long after I met Hornier in my local swinging club and we met as swingers for a few months then it sort of grew.
