Our swinging club does have one and im sure u will enjoy it ... X

Cool! Care to share which club that is?
Ok, so we were surfing a site that looks a lot like YouTube but has rather different content ;) And came across some videos of ladies enjoying a Sybian.
Needless to say, I'm more than a little intrigued - I want one!!! Except I can't afford one.
So, anyone tried them? Are they really as good as the videos make them look? And if so.... can we share???? biggrin (ok well at least me - just as long as he gets to watch lol)

Super post C&C, wife and i off to germany in a few weeks to see family, now if we can just find a way to sneak out...

Just pretend you're catching up with old friends! Works for us ;)
Anyhow, glad you enjoyed the read. I suspect from now on we'll make a point of checking out clubs in other countries whenever we get a chance... not that that happens very often but from our first attempt it sure was worth it. Better than visiting yet another boring museum any day!
So we decided – while on a few days’ holiday in Germany and miraculously for once without the kid – to check out a German swingers club. The things you do in the name of research! *laughs*
Anyhow, it was an interesting experience so we thought we’d share some of our research findings with you.
Stage one in the project was, naturally, research, so off we went searching for club listings in Germany, and registered with some German swingers sites in the process.
The first thing that struck us just how many swingers clubs there are in Germany. Most medium-sized towns seem to have at least one, many of them several. Where we can here get to three, maybe four clubs within one hour’s drive, in Germany there’d be 20 or 30. Indeed we were told that Munich alone has over 15 clubs, and northern towns apparently tend to have even more!
The other thing that was remarkable – though perhaps not so surprising, given the usual stereotypes – was just how direct and to the point the Germans are. Take this as an example: within an hour of registering with one site, we had two requests to chat, both from couples (though in each case the male talking, I reckon…)
Conversation 1:
- Hi, I hear you’re looking to come to our area on holiday?
- Yes
- Well we’ll be in the area on xxxx, would you be interested in meeting up?
- Umm, err, yes nice to hear from you…. Ummm…. Bit more info about you?
- Sure, here’s our mobile number – call us when you get there and we’ll arrange where to meet.
Conversation 2:
- Hi there, lovely profile
- Thanks
- Ok, are you devot? (a term we eventually worked out means sub)
- No, sub/dom isn’t really our thing
- No problem, how about bondage?
Sheessh!
However, there were some nice and tasty people on those sites, and not all approaches were quite as full on as that, so eventually we’d gotten chatting to this very nice couple just on the edge of the area we were looking to visit, and they recommended a rather nice-looking club too which we could meet up in. So at the very least we wouldn’t be Billy-no-Mates and at best we might find someone to have fun with. It took a little bit of re-arranging plans and schedules but the club and the couple seemed to be worth it.
Of course, as so often, the couple in question eventually cancelled two days before we were supposed to meet them (no babysitter), while we were already in Germany and it was much too late to organize anything else. Nothing ever changes though it sure was annoying!!
Anyhow, we decided we wouldn’t let such a slight disappointment stand in the way of valuable research so we went ahead and visited the club as planned.
Our observations, in random order
· There may be lots of swingers clubs in Germany but it’s just as hit and miss how busy they are as it is in the UK. The club we went to had an alright crowd but could’ve easily accommodated two or three times the number.
· German men seem to have a penchant for tight pants – even spotted the odd G-string
· Only a few clubs will feature a Jacuzzi while practically every one we looked at had a sauna. Oh, and a dungeon! (Germans and bondage, eh?)
· German clubs really believe in feeding their guests well – most places we looked at served a sumptuous buffet that would not have been out of place at a hotel banquet
· Clubs tend to be flat-fee – entrance is a bit more pricey but once you’re in, all food and drink is free. We especially loved having access to limitless coffee and tea, wish UK clubs did something similar!
· The people were very easy-going and approachable; even without our pre-arranged meet we got chatted up and chatting to lots of people – something we haven’t necessarily found in the UK
· Contrary to stereotype, the women we saw did all take shaving very seriously
· Not so the men – facially anyway. German men do like their moustaches!
· No one seemed to be keen on speaking English; luckily Cream is originally from Germany so could translate
· There is no general smoking ban in German clubs! Having gotten used to the UK smoking ban, being back in a smoky atmosphere was quite weird… and not in the best of ways.
All in all we had a fun night and would definitely recommend other people take in the more adventurous side of life on their holidays to Germany. A slight annoyance to us was that the couple who’d cancelled on us because they allegedly couldn’t get away from the family turned up after all, only to totally ignore us…. *rolls eyes* So I guess the infamous German forthrightness and honesty doesn’t hold true on all accounts. Their loss..!
So much for our research results. Would love to hear from anyone else who's made similar - or differing! - experiences in Germany, or any other countries you'd care to think about...
Hope it's not too late yet - please put us two on the list please!!! This is going to be fun smile
Trust Dean to lower the standard of conversation here!! Congrats to Justinathong though, we thought we'd count as a well established couple by now but you have close on a decade on us. Oh well!! ;) Hope you had a great day kiss
We'd definitely be interested assuming we can make whatever date is picked. Saturdays tend to work better for us than Fridays but that doesn't mean a Friday would be impossible.
Surprised no one's mentioned Nine Inch Nails - Closer as their best; it sure is ours! Just the right rhythm, and lyrics that leave little to the imagination...
As for worst... any of the comedy tunes that crop up on our jukebox. Star Trekkin' by the Firm is probably the worst offender!
barely had the chance to get to know you - but it's great to hear you're happy!!! Take care of yourself and of the little one!
*hugs*

on a car ferry, going from Dover to Calais, in heavy seas. Did it mainly to lose a point off the purity test... The look the little old lady gave us as i dragged my fella into the Ladies' was almost worth it, but the cubicle was cramped and dingy... the icing on the cake of course was the poor woman in the neighbouring cubicle puking her guts out biggrin!
An unforgettable shag, for all the wrong reasons.
Just to add to what everyone said - thank you very much for organising a fab night! Was a great first social to go along to, thank you so much everyone for making us feel welcome! Sorry we had to leave somewhat suddenly, got called away by the almighty babysitter...

Ooops only just found this thread, seems we're a little late... but could you put our name down on the reserve list please? We're still new to this and have never been to a meet up, but would love to come if any spaces open up.

The best way to ensure you're not falling victim to a scam site IMO is using the customer feedback provided by the likes of Pricerunner. I'd never buy anything from a site that only has limited feedback, or a lot of negative comments (and yes you do find those when you go looking).
Must admit I also love a bargain, and ebay is a place I pretty regularly visit smile
Internet shopping's also been damn useful with other things, even those you really need to see for real first. Ie when we were looking for a new telly a few years back, we visited the local Comet, Dixon's etc, decided on the telly we wanted - which was of course over our budget - and then through Pricerunner found a site that sold it within our budget. Got delivered within a couple of days, 5 pm on New Year's Eve as it happens - was most impressed!
You're no doubt right there - I wasn't saying that nurture doesn't play a role. Kids, humans as much as other animals, learn a lot through imitation. My toddler daughter shows me that every day... *sighs*
Even there however I reckon it isn't always straightforward to untangle what's nature and what's nurture. Is kid, seeing mum tense up when entering a new environment, getting fretful because it takes its cues from mum - or is it because the kid has inherited mum's disposition to feeling nervous?
It can be hard to tell, which is why twins are so useful in studying these issues (especially when you get the rare case of identical twins raised apart).
I just asked my other half... "no implants", he says. "it's like buying a classic car and finding it's full of filler!" lol

Of course genes do play a part but how one brings their children up shapes there lives mainly. Children can be complete opposites to their parents even though they share the same genes.

Keep in mind that a child will only share 50% of each parent's genes. They can also display characteristics that were inherited from a parent even if they didn't manifest themselves in said parent. This is a massive over-simplification, but think of it as a recessive gene - like a green-eyed parent having a blue-eyed child. The parent had the blue gene all along but for him, it's overridden by the green gene. The child only inherits the parent's blue gene and without a green gene to cancel it, displays blue eyes. The same situation can affect genes coding for behavioural traits.
I looked at a fair bit of the nature vs nurture debate when I was at uni. The main gist of all the research I was was that while we'd love to think otherwise, nature is the dominant factor. Of course it is possible to "spoil" a person through bad or abusive parenting. But in the main, nature is increadibly strong at laying down the foundations of personality. It also lays down how someone responds to their "nurturing" - basic traits such as whether someone has a cheerful personality or worries a lot, whether people are easy-going or easily stressed etc are all hard-coded in our genes. Nurture provides only the fine tuning.
60-40 to nature, I reckon.
