If people were actually interested in this topic or poll, surely you wouldn't need to bounce it back to the top so often to stop it sinking into oblivion? dunno rolleyes

This is actually untrue. If you give false information to gain a cheaper quote, then *any* insurance you may purchase as a result will be invalid.
You may even find yourself with a charge of fraud against your name rolleyes

This offer cannot be repeated after the 28th of April 2004, so please book your venue as soon as possible, Hoping to hear from any willing Lady, married or not by return email or private message.

lol
C'mon girls . . . . form an orderly queue. Time is running out for you to take up this offer
I think you'll find if you have a look along any street in any town, that the vast numbers of the population of Britain are overweight, that is men, women and children.
A recent article on Sky News claimed that as much as 46% of women and 54% of men are now clinically obese. This was defined as being 20% over the suggested healthy weight for their height.
Therefore, I think you'll probably also see lots of larger men out dogging too, but prob won't notice them rolleyes
I totally agree with ginger-jo that larger girls still want to have fun, and from what I've seen, they do have it.

I sure hope somebody pointed him in this direction:

Thanks for the link Roger! Sadly I have already deleted his email or I would have sent the link on to him for future reference lol

from kids from 15 - 19 years old

Erm................ as a "kid" in this age bracket (i'm 18, my birthday is May 7th 1985) this bothers me. i would like to think that i know how to use the site responsibly
I have used the term 'kids' in this context to denote younger people than ourselves. I'm sure you have often heard older people refer to young people this way. It is not intended as a slant on the character of youth, merely to show how older people often see youngsters.
As for some of those who have contacted us, they have shown no adult features at all in their emails and indeed the one who claimed to be 19 appeared to be have the silliest attitude I have come across rolleyes
I have not said all young people are irresponsible uses of this site, only those who have contacted us asking for a 'quick shag with an older woman to see what it's like' or the 15 year old who asked to be shown what to do so he could go and shag his girlfriend without her knowing him to be a virgin :!: :!: :!:
Don't take offence where none is intended, just pride yourself that you in your youth, know how to behave and act properly and in an adult fashion. I wish there were more like you. smile

Day after day and more at weekends and when the kids are on holiday do we see the little feckers come into the chat room and either throw abuse or by their own little comments give theirselfs away sad ? I myself had an E-Mail from a person from this site who openly admitted they were only 16 ffs
Am I realy the only person in the room who see's this ?

Sadly it's not only on the chatroom. We posted last weeknd in the 'Lets Meet' section, asking for couples or guys to get in touch with a view to some fun.
I've lost count of the amount of emails we've had from kids from 15 - 19 years old, asking for a meet up. Of these I would say judging by their composition, these emails are probably written by the under 15 age group, certainly in their mentality rolleyes
I'll soon blow over just as soon as the schools go back lol In the meantime I think it is best ignored. The mods would have no way of keeping tabs on every user of this site, but they do a grand job when they are aware of such matters. So everyone - take a deep breath and wait for them to get bored and leave us in peace again smile

C'mon guys. I have asked for pics and details by email.
One liners by pm is not going to get you anywhere rolleyes

post deleted as requested by Jags. It is however, still on the thread as Ice Pie chose to quote it verbatim.
Will he now be asked to delete his post too?

Simply expressing my view Sarge... not my fault if someone else got out of bed the wrong side.

Who was that then Ice?
Just remember, it was 'you' who introduced the question of St George's nationality. Redhot's question was about the celebrations, not St' G's heritage rolleyes

Quote by Ice Pie
So let me get this straight... you're objecting to me talking about the subject that the thread is actually about?
Lucky for me I don't need your permission. rolleyes

No Ice Pie, I'm not objecting at all. Just can't fathom how you think 'someone else' introduced St George into the topic, when in fact the very first post was about the man himself and his national day :!:
As to whether he was English or not is irrelevant. He is still the national Saint.
The Irish have St Patrick's day, but did you know that he is actually English not Irish? As a young boy he was taken as a slave to Ireland by the Romans. This fact does not seem to detract the Irish from persuing their fun on March 17th though does it?!
Nor for the Scots. Their patron saint is actually from Israel and was a disciple of Jesus. He became their patron saint around 300 years after his death, when his bones were taken to Scotland for sacred burial.
The origins are a non starter as far as we're concerned. After all, can 'you' truely say you are of totally English origin?
I think not - we are genetically all mongrels, made up of Celtic, Angles, Saxons, Romans, Norse and so on . . . . .
The original question was whether we should celebrate, not which part of the globe was St George from lol
Quote by Ice Pie
Someone else introduced St George to the discussion. I responded with my view.
It's about whether we should celebrate our national day or not.

I know. That's why I answered that question in my post.
Huh? Of course St George was introduced into the conversation - it's his day after all

Quote by Ice Pie
Who was St George? Some bloke who slew dragons, or was it the Three Bears?
In fact he wasn't even an Englishman, but a Roman soldier and an early Christian martyr, tortured and beheaded for his religious beliefs.
I'm all for a national day and a bit of flag waving, and I certainly don't apologise for being English, no matter how much the rest of the world (and in particular the rest of the UK) would like me to, but I can't help wondering whether a few more of my countrymen might take their nationality a bit more seriously if it weren't symbolised by a fairy-tale.
Ice

Bit harsh Ice Pie. It's not about who St George was or was not. It's about whether we should celebrate our national day or not.
That he may have been of non English origin is beside the point really. The fact is, he Is our national Saint and like other countries, we should celebrate our national day.

Redhot.... it's totally different.
Poshnbecks have taken the time to gain a reputation on this site. They've met with many other members, so much so LOADS of folks can vouch for them.
The single guys you speak of arrive, sign up, then post a 'Gizza Shag' post then moan why they don't get any response. It gets tiresome and repetative.
There is nothing wrong with seeking a quick shag... but you first have to put the ground work into it.
Hxx

There are loads of single guys on here who have been members for a while now and they still don't get away with this sort of request.
I also notice that the two mods who replied have 'met' with each other and of course then Mal, has recently met Posh hump Coincindence or just friends standing together? confused
Redhot doesn't appear to be questioning P & B's genuine offer, merely if it is ok for girls to post in this manner and not the guys.

That's a fine thing to do if you have a bottom less pit of money to replace everything on the whims of a woman wink

My daughter who will be 18 in May has been going out with a nice guy for a year and a month, he is 18 also. Our house is quiet small and the weekend she wants him to stay over is the weekend my son comes home from the navy.
She has asked if her boyfriend can sleep in her room on an airbed?
Am I practicing double standards or being old fashioned? I would like your thoughts!

Without wishing to put a damper on this, I would say stick to your own feelings. My brother was in just that situation last June when his daughter had her 18th birthday party. Boyfriend stayed over in daughter's room on a futon . . .
Three weeks ago my brother became a grandfather to a bouncing baby boy, born exactly nine months after his mother turned 18 years of age. Not saying it wouldn't have happened anyway, but although my brother and his wife love their new grandson immensly, they do blame themselves for his arrival into this world.
Stick to your gut feelings on it. I'm sure your daughter will understand whatever decision you choose to make.
Jess
For me it has to be Walk Away by Celine Dion. Yeah I know she's kinda naff, but this song is soooo sad. I love it! smile
Absolutely anything by the Commodores, Clannad, and of course Praying for Time by the delectable George Michael. Have to agree with redhot too - guitar man Slash is fabbo! :thrilled:
