Not a cartoon as such, but Star Fleet (and indeed all of the Gerry Anderson shows that inspired Go Nagai to make Star Fleet) ^_^ I've been rewatching them on DVD and despite being made in 1980, they still hold up very well smile
(The sound is rather pants in places, but you'll get the idea lol )
Not in any order of preference, just as I remember them:
Serenity
Battle Royale
UHF
Ghost in the Shell (Kokaku Kidotai)
Akira
The Replacements
Avengers Assemble
Aliens
Hot Fuzz
Dragnet
There are Feth knows more that I like as much as these, but these I tend to watch most.
The Goons (Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe)
Or
Frank Welker, Peter Cullen, Scott McNeil (google 'em flipa )
Or
Einstein, Nikola Tesla, Da Vinci

Blokes that whistle. I was in a supermarket and this twat was doing what only can be described as bird impressions, i could hear him from 3 aisles away. God its irritating.

innocent

Customers who approach you expecting you to be bloody psychic and know exactly what they want, and when you try your best then complain that you've taken sooooo much of their valuable time by having to explain what they actually want!
How's about you decide what you ACTUALLY want (i.e. specific dimensions, the NAME etc) before leaving the house? I had one customer today asking for a "thing". I kid you not!
Me: "Is it something for the Kitchen? The bedroom, living room? Is it a children's item? What colour is it? Do you know how much? Is it mainly made of metal, plastic, wood?"
Them: "I don't know. It's a THING!" *Looks at me sarcastically as if I have a mental problem.*
 FECK OFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

Serendipity

Single Tulip (tulip)

I'm surprised I'm on that list. Despite the "Gobshite" moniker, I don't think of myself as being that remember able lol
In any case, that list brought back a hell of a lot of memories! ^_^
I have to wear the company uniform rolleyes Because of the surgery I've had on my knees I'm unique in that I wear a "hybrid uniform" - the logistics department trousers (knee pads) and sales shirt, with 'Tectors (steel toecap boots). That said, the company is fairly relaxed with "other" coloured hair (mainly the ladies - Pink, blue, Purple, multi colour! lol ) and tattoos (as long as they aren't offensive or obscene). There are at least ten of us who have visible tattoos (myself included), many of those having "sleeves". Many of us also have badges (mainly worn on the lanyards we have to wear along with name badges), most of them are company logos/slogans, but I have a few others that are tolerated by the company - Macmillians, my first aid badge, 5 year service badge, enamel poppy (that I leave on all year round) etc, etc.
Dipping sandwiches or toast into coffee and eating them lol

Going to my first ever social... Eagerslut held my hand... it was in Glasgow and the first people we spoke to turned out to be my parent's postman. He knew my dog. Mortified didn't even cover it! redface
With the names thing there are some people I still call by their username... I saw Nola recently and it didn't occur to me not to call her Nola. Blue is the same, as is Jas. I just never remember to change and I'm sure I called Jas out loud in the pub when I was down last. Widey will always be Widey or real name... never essexm34. Bloke will always be Bloke and Celery will always be Celery. Nellie was always Nellie and Sass is always Sass. Funny cause equally there are some people who I always call by their real names and I'm not sure why that is. Sometimes I switch and if I'm talking about someone I'll use their username but if I'm talking to them I'd use their real name.
And now I can't remember the question. :bounce:

Most people tend to call me Dlep or Dollop rolleyes A few know my real name, but still call me Dollop. Even fewer call my by my real name

Christina Hendricks from Firefly eh Dlep? Interesting choice... though she is pretty damn sexy. If I was to have a Firefly threesome it would be have to be Inara and Kaylee (Morena Baccarin and Jewel Staite.) Inara would bring her Courtesan's skills and Kaylee would bring her down-to-earth enthusiasm!
But if I was to widen it out further than just Firefly then it gets a bit difficult to choose. On one day I'd say Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alison Hannigan (preferably dressed as Evil Willow) coz I'm in a Buffy mood, but on another I'd say Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor coz I'm feeling more Xena-inspired. If I've been watching more films I might say Angelina Jolie (a bj from those lips?) and Drew Barrymore.
Ferne Britten and Lorraine Kelly? I reckon Lorraine would be a lot of fun - Ferne I'd've preferred before she lost all that weight.
Oh so many choices, I could go on all night...

Jewel Staite and Drew Barrymore :inlove: Evil Willow. I had forgotten about her as well lol
Still have a thing for Sophie Aldred as well (any companion of the Doctor, who attacks Daleks with a baseball bat has to be cool :inlove: )
Christina Hendricks (Firefly) Eliza Dushku (Buffy, Dollhouse)
Uma Thurman Scarlett Johannson
Or any combination of the above, there are many more, but my minds gone blank rolleyes

When I joined I had a baby who was mad on Blues Clues, a programme for under 5s, starring a cartoon dog, called Blue.
It was on TV the morning I joined this forum.
I added 3 kisses to show everyone how lovely I am

I have most of mine. I can't remember how many, but it's over 15! blink
I "left" the scene for sometime mainly due to personal circustances - no job, living situation was not good either. By the time I had sorted things out, many of those I knew in the scene socially or otherwise themselves had left. It was quite difficult to get to know those who had entered thereafter, and the interest trailed off (not necessarily anyone's fault, just a fact). I had been to a few Socials since, but they just didn't have the same effect for me and I went into hibernation again. I honestly think that I was spoiled way back (in fact, I know) as the events I've been fortunate to attend were legendary. Quite a few of the recent ones were rather pedestrian to be honest.
I miss the old times, but know that they'll never be back. Conventional relationships etc is something that has little appeal, but the way things are I doubt that I'll truly be able to get back into the "swing" of things again (pun intended).
So I'm in limbo. How long that lasts is anyone's guess.

Mine was because at the time we joined the scene I had a big thing for vampires (still do to a degree) and talking of degrees, I was at uni studying Forensics.
Morbius was/is a cartoon character, a vampire scientist..... best of both worlds smile

And was one of only a few Villains that kicked Spiderman's arse on more than one occasion! lol
My Username is an abbreviation of a rock group I listen to  I've changed name quite a few times (on other Fourms), but I'm always referred to it even so (or Dollop, courtesy of Widey rolleyes  )

X Files - I liked that at first, but it went too daft.
I've been watching Stargate SG1 on Sky 1 in the afternoons, while I've been off work. It's always on, I know, but it's something I haven't taken any notice of for about 10 years. I'm quite enjoying it.

I was a massive fan of the X-files until Season two. After that, even the charms of Gillian Anderson :rascal: couldn't keep me watching lol

If I recall correctly, the explanation I watched on "How it's made" is that the metal balls are made from cut pieces of metal. Those pieces are put into a machine that forces the metal into the correct shape. Another machine takes the "flash" (the bits of metal that remain) away and forces any that the previous machine has missed. They are then hardened through heating them and the process is repeated as necessary until they are the correct size. The bearings are heated to make the metal stronger. However, when metal is heated is changes shape, hence the need to repeat the process.

Nooooo, I promise ya, it's genetically engineered rabbits. They won't tell you that in the media.
:giggle:
Damn the Media! *Shakes fist* Damn yous all to hell! :giggle:
