We've looked around but had great trouble finding things like that that we like off the shelf, I'm sure that by the time we actually do it you'll be able to find bride&bride (or groom&groom) figures no trouble.
Not thought about naked ones tho! we're wanting them to be wearing dresses similar to ours.

yep, no single guys - there are a lot of places that allow single guys, I don't think it's too great a loss that there are a few that don't.

class divisions don't really exist any more like they used to, they're only important if ppl decide to let them be important, it's too easy to "change class" these days. Todays problems with social exclusion are radically different to the problems of class division half a century ago.
I'm a pleb, and a disinherited pleb at that; my gf (Ali) on the other hand is 100% sloane, posh school, posh degree, Tory activist, godfather was personally pissed-off at the Lords being kicked out, and brother-in-law who owns several yachts (one in the med, one in the carribean and one in the US)!
When it get's legalised, Ali's side'll be the ones paying for the wedding! lol

The venues in London (never been to any of the Manky ones) have always been superb, although they don't vet as strictly as they give the impression they do they're still more selective than anywhere non-private I've been, ratio's always been better than one to one, and I've never gone home alone after one :)

def agree, I almost never think of it as "swinging" which for me gives the image of middle aged over weight suburban key swapping.
it's always gonna be tricky defining when you started to some extent as different things will represent starting to different people - I started having what I'd consider "recreational sex" at 14, was having "sex parties" with friends at 16, and was going to "organised" sex clubs at 17, so it's tricky to say when I started out.

I started going to sex clubs/parties when I was 17, and had been peripherarily involved since about 16, I know/knew quite a few others who are/were 16-18 when they started.
the prob of course is that the "official" scene has no accommodation for u18s, in most regards it's tougher to get into a sex club if you're 17 than a normal one.
that said, it's still a minority, I'd guess most ppl first get into it at university rather than before, and outside London there's probably not the critical mass needed.

not specifically as far as I know, tho obviously to some extent the clubs at the younger end of the scene - champagne, fever, kk etc. more often tends to be private parties as most of the clubs won't allow 16/17 yo in, and it's 16-18 yo where this has pretty much come from.

Although your age isn't gonna be a big issue, a lot of the swinging/sex club scene still (to me at least) seems to be predominantly 35+
it's improved a lot since I started (about 5 years ago) when there seemed to be virtually no under-30s only clubs/parties and very few where the average age was below 30. Prob the main reason I've always focused on private parties rather than "swinger" clubs. One of the first places I went to was regarded as quite a "young" club but I was over a decade younger than the next youngest person there (who was 29 if memory serves, with most in their early-mid 30s)!
Nowadays it's easy enough to find parties where the oldest person will be less than 10 years older than you smile

There are plenty of places where the average age is under 30, aswell as quite a few under-30-only parties. Even a decent, if not very well established yet, late teens/early 20s scene (in london at least).

I was bi first, but I wouldn't say being bi led me towards the swinging/sex scene.
As for 3sums I prefer ffm, but fff & mmf each have their merits smile

I guess. I stopped a couple of years ago, I was having therapy etc for about three years between 16 and 19 but saw no "improvement" - that is I got "worse", more promiscuous etc.
It was an interesting mechanism for reflection, but the "treatment" and it's underlying premises were, in my opinion, and in my case, fundamentaly flawed.

waaaaaaayyy back, 3 or 4 years ago, I think it was during my a levels, I kept a public journal as part of the "sex journal" I was supposed to be keeping for my "compulsive sexual behaviour" therapy as I wanted to talk to ppl about it. Not done that properly since tho I've made abortive attempts at it. Only maintained it for a few months tho.

Personally I'm not really interested in meeting single guys online, because if I do want to meet up with a single guy they're not that tricky to get - go to any club or bar and I can find a random guy to go to bed with.
When I'm looking for ppl online I tend to look for single f, or ff, mm or mf couples as these tend to either be harder to find or from smaller populations, particularly when its just recreational sex - the lesbian scene isn't nearly as cruisey as the gay male scene sad

u shouldn't put ppl off twice - ask the second one if you can do it another day, tell them you've made a mistake and have something else on that night and then find a time as soon as possible for you & them to meet up.

Depends how you count it I guess, as I've never really considered it swinging, but I started going to sex clubs & parties when I was 17 so about 5 years now.
