I'm usually ultra-cautious about that sort of thing, but I've mucked up twice - both times on holiday (cyprus & ibiza), once was this summer and once was a post-gcse party, and both times exactly the same way 
we found out afterwards that the guy running the photoprinting shop that was recommended by the hotels/reps was able to copy *everything* off your cameras memory card, even pics you'd removed :(

To me it's just an extension of basic courtesy & people's right to privacy - I'm very exhibitionistic & sometimes enjoy being recognised, Ali on the other hand is far more private, there are virtually no pics of her on the net, and is quite careful about who knows what.
The attitude varies a bit from one part of the scene to another, some people who's general lives are more "sympathetic" to the sex-scene may go to clubs & parties where it's less of an issue (eg many fetish clubs), other only go to the more reserved clubs (eg champagne, fever) or only to private parties where they may feel that the level of discretion is greater.
Personally I know quite a few people in the London sex scene who are "professionals" who's reputation & private life would be *very* badly damaged if others knew that were into the sex scene - lawyers, police, politicians, city types, teachers etc.

I started pole- & lap-dancing in my last year at school, and saw one of my teachers in one of the less nice clubs I danced at. Last year in hall there was a guy who had seen some of my pics on the web before.

in my experience the recreational sex/sex club/swinging scene is pretty well established among uni students, I know ppl at half a dozen major universities who are into it, certainly all the major london ones.

Well, I joined a few days ago and have posted a few times already, I figure I ought to introduce myself.

Diagnosed with CSB (compulsive sexual behaviour, sexual addiction) when I was 16, spent 3 years doing the usual dross of therapy, diaries, anti-depressants, etc until my first year at uni when I starting IDing as poly which enabled me to partition my sexual relationships better between polyamorous relationships and recreational sex, getting rid of both the perceived "problems" and the shrinks.
Mainly into private parties & sex clubs, no interest in the "dogging" scene. Been going to parties/clubs for about 5 years now. I was a bit of a starfucker when I was younger, but I've kinda grown out of it ;) lol

Something thats puzzled me a bit.
I've heard very mixed reports about how difficult it is to get into Fever, although it's supposed to be really selective & picky most ppl I know and most ppl I've gone with haven't had much hassle getting accepted for parties, although the parties have generally given the impression of having been carefully picked (eg young (for a sex party), good ratio etc).
Do other ppl find this? Is it just an image thing - that if they look exclusive enough they don't need to actually be that picky as the group self-selcts; or are they as selective as they claim & I've just got lucky (granted not many clubs turn away 22yo girls, but still!)?

I've gone with three guys based solely on their reputation for being very well endowed, twice they were definately too big (though the first time I was relatively young (14) and hadn't had sex with many guys so rather than him being "too big" it's possible that I was a little less "accommodating" than I would be a couple of years later! *ahem*) but once worked out perfectly, prob the main thing was that though he was pretty big & hard going in he grew a lot after he'd gone in. Any fetish/goth club is gonna have plenty of bi & poly boys & girls (TG, Club Wicked, Slimelight etc) and theres zero chance of getting any trouble for being gay, poly or whatever in those placs

:) I'm not quite that good, but yeah :) I've long said that one of the best reasons for going gay is that guys are too easy to get into bed!
