That was funny.  For those who did not know her Jags was a Mod who was forever ranting about "cock pics" on profiles as she HATED them with a passion.  We had a party and we named a corner of a room "Jags Corner" for the party and printed out loads of cock pics from the profiles and stuck them all over the wall for her.  Quite a few of us got a slap for that!

I don't think any of us were that innocent were we? LOL

We knew about a wedding and babies - only because we saw them just before the babies popped out and a short while later...

We knew about Harry as well.

Some of the others we still keep in touch with, some of who have since been divorced and no longer together but we are still friends.

I have a photo somewhere of all the badges Wilma pinched at a Munch somewhere - will have to dig it out!

Writing the rules and making it up as we went along was ok, if a little scary at times.  Training mods for the forums was easy enough but ops for the chat rooms was more difficult as we had to use a different piece of software and scripts to moderate the rooms and there were things that people knew what to do such as auto kicks and things like that to fight back so we had to train ops to deal with it all.  Some people came into the chat rooms to cause trouble and the toughest time was just after the Stan Collymore dogging incident where we had numpties galore all over the website and literally hundreds of people to ban and ads to remove etc.  Lots of the mods and ops wanted to hang up their spurs after that as we had worked stupid hours.  All played to a background of the fact that we had to try and be impartial even when other people wound us up.  Stupid stuff like "why did you not invite me to your party" and things like that.  I have to say the mods and ops were all supportive of one another and used to keep one another in line.  We did have a few problems with mods and ops as well so some of the mods were super users to cope with it all.  

How did this interfere with our swinging lifestyle?  Massively......  We spent so much time modding and opping we did not have the time to perv ourselves!

I have just gone and found an old thread where I spat my dummy out - interesting reading.......

I have to say though, I have just gone to the last page of that thread and followed the links to some of the old threads that were around at that time and have had tears running down my face........ we obviously had far too much time on our hands and the good times outweighed the bad.

 Absolutely nothing!  We loved every minute of the website, helping set up the rules and training mods, dealing with letters from solicitors for the WI, the munches we went to and the parties we had..........

Some of our best friends are from this site.

We just got so busy in our lives that we just concentrated on that.  It did not mean we have not done anything naughty in the last few years - we just have not been on the forum.

I have to say we have found that people have tried to bring this into the open more times than we have had hot dinners and failed.  In the "old days" we did a lot of meets and parties, made friends, had fun and spent time with those that became friends......  We babysat for one another, we trusted one another, kept in touch (to this day some of our best friends were people we met swinging!) and the fun was in the friendship and forum and the swinging came later.

We had other friends who thought they had "worked it out" and kept dropping hints.  We challenged them one day and asked them what was worse, finding out we were not swingers or finding out we were swingers but just did not fancy them - they were extremely put out! - (we never did have a play!)

There are many jobs which would be frowned upon if people found out you were part of the swinging community - imagine bumping into the vicar at your local swinging club - but so long as people respect one another's privacy, ask for permission before taking pictures etc then there will be less stigma attached to the act of swinging - but I have to ask this - why would you want to tell people who are not in the scene what you are doing - after all, they might not understand?  Some of our friends know, many do not.....  We prefer to keep it that way.

Respect one another and keep it shtum - those in the know need to know, every one else is best kept in the dark!  Best advice we can give...........

I have to say we have played "bareback" - but only with couples we have known for a long time and swung with a over many years and a number of times.  Some of these friends we have known for more than 10 years and got to know their habits and vagaries - we have even babysat their kids!  First meets and occasional meets have always involved wearing "wellington boots" - but that is a bit of a false sense of security as we have always played with oral without using an oral dam and never caught anything - which in 13 years is a bit of a lottery in some respects....  Playing at "Munches" always meant playing safe - but we have never had a problem with people understanding our requests.

I think that people just have to accept and respect other peoples wishes/needs or the rules that make them comfortable to play.

I tend to think that those on the scene are far more aware and would not play whilst having a problem - but maybe that is naive?

Even when we used to throw parties with people we knew we played safe .......
