This is just a very loose idea at the moment but what do you think of the following. I know the social side to the scene is very important and we have a lot of members here so maybe we could do something.
Do you think people would want to attend a big UK swinging festival organised by SH strictly for members?.
It would be in a secure outdoor location with proper security guards etc. And be a camp/festival kind of thing over a weekend.
Attractions would include a big marquee with music and entertainment. Sex shows, erotic dancers etc etc.
Jacuzzis and maybe a few funfair rides
Bouncy castles
Mud wrestling pits
Foam party
Hog roasts in the evenings etc
And secure play areas
And anything else we can come up with that would be fun!
Stalls and shops, indian massage, sexy stuff etc?
I would imagine around 1-2000 people could attend and the price would probably be around £40-50 per person to cover costs? but it certainly would not be one of the few quid events to go to due to the costs and attractions etc, it would not be organised to generate a profit just not a loss.
We would need to firstly find a suitable secure weekend venue and would probably need a lot of organisational help from the members to make it all happen.

Johnstown, PA: Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers "duct taped inside several fast food restaurant dumpsters," according to police officials.

The organizer said a group of concerned animal rights activist groups, "growing tired of throwing fake blood and shouting profanities at older women wearing leather or fur coats," decided to protest the annual motorcycle club event "in a hope to show them our outrage at their wanton use of leather in their clothing and motor bike seats." "In fact," said the organizer. "Motorcycle gangs are one of the biggest abusers of wearing leather, and we decided it was high time that we let them know that we disagree with them using it... Ergo, they should stop."
According to witnesses, protesters arrived at the event in a vintage 1960's era Volkswagen van and began to pelt the gang members with balloons filled with red colored water, simulating blood, and shouting "you're murderers" to passers by. This, evidently, is when the brouhaha began.
"They peed on me!!!" charged one activist. "They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me 'La Trene', and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!"
"I... I was trying to show my outrage at a man with a heavy leather jacket. And, he... he didn't even care. I called him a murderer, and all he said was, 'You can't prove that.' Next thing I know is he forced me to ride on the back of his motorcycle all day, and not left me off, because his girl friend was out of town and I was almost a woman."
Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers "farted on their heads."
Police officials declined comments on any leads or arrests due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, however, organizers for the motorcycle club rally expressed "surprise" at the allegations.
"That's preposterous," said on high ranking member of the biker organizing committee. "We were having a party, and these people showed up and were very rude to us. They threw things at us, called us names, and tried to ruin the entire event. So, what did we do? We invited them to the party! What could be more friendly than that? You know, just because we are all members of motorcycle clubs does not mean we do not care about inclusiveness. Personally, I think it shows a lack of character for them to be saying such nasty things about us after we bent over backwards to make them feel welcome."
When confronted with the allegations of force feeding the activists meat, using them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant dumpsters, and 'farting on their heads,' the organizer declined to comment in detail. Shrep is a very very good system, it is far better than anything else out there. Delays have been caused making sure we have fully legally protected the ideas, as well as in depth planning from all angles. i for one get annoyed that we keep coming up with the stuff for everyone else to take the ideas. This one we will be protecting legally at all costs as it is so very good.
It is in fact so good that we have had no negative feedback from the opinion group that has been privy to the full details at this stage. Even the very anti have been pleased with the well thought out and very clever way that it all works. It is in development right now but like the new site it will be delivered properly only after proper testing.
I wish I could give you a lot more right now, but I cant until just before launch. But everyone should find Shrep useful in one way or another.

Its only your main profile pics, you can have whatever you like in your gallery . Basically it is to stop cock shots from being seen on friends feeds, your e-mails, who has viewed your profile and events etc. You can imagine as an example looking at an attending event list to just see a "row of sausages" in the pictures.
Also comments on stories etc are public so we had the potential problem with minors. I have to say we have only had two negative comments so far about it (including yours).

We have been monitoring ALL problems that have been reported and have been making changes and fixes where required.
AOL users are having some issues as AOL only updates its cache every 3 or 4 days, this means that you get a mixed bag of old and new bits when trying to use the site.
As for very slow loading pages this one is an odd problem and is effecting only a very small amount of users. It is definately something on the PC, we just need to identify it to resolve the problem. Could be some kind of add blocker, tool bar, or a certain build configuration. We run a slow query log on the server so we can identify issues site side and there is nothing in there that would cause these problems. In fact a lot of users have commented that the site has never been so fast???
As stated here people on seperate PCS on the same connection might have a very fast one and a very slow one. We will write to everyone who has a slow load configuration until we can find out exactly what is causing it. This will take top priority in the office until the problem is identified.
The more information you can provide us with the better such as browser and version, operating system, anti virus software, what version of flash etc also demographic location and broadband provider.

I have an Iphone and its not a very good phone IMO, the battery life sucks and you can never hear it ring. People have trouble hearing you on it and it was very disapointing to have one as a mobile and the signal strength is also bad TBH.
I just use mine as an Ipod now and got a decent phone that you can actually use as a phone not a toy phone that plays MP3s etc.
Get a google android IMO far better and all the apps as well along with everything you would expect from a Google phone.

You can report it as a bug along with what browser and OS you are using. Because it is not like that for the vast majority of people so im guessing you need to update the version of your browser

As it happens all the Mods and Ops as well as admin have been using it for at least a month now. We have had 200 site members also using it as well our (bug test user group). We then asked them to complete a survey and it seems it has been very well received .
You will be able to use both sites for a period of time to allow you to get used to them. We will kill the old one off in a few weeks..

LOL you should all be able to use the new site tomorrow, then we hope to have the new site messenger, and speed swing and maybe SHREP (the rep system) done early in quarter 1. Followed shortly after by the new profiles and a whole load of other goodies. It all depends on what snags we get after the new site is launched tomorrow TBH.
