I remember why we came here originally, I also remember why we stayed, things changed and we moved to other sites to be with the friends we made online. Since then social media has got involved and there is now less of a need for sites like this.
It's similar to the internet killing off readers wives mags, that's how you got to meet up in the olden days.

Most of the suggestions have been said... sandwich board outside Tesco (maybe switch it up with Asda), websites which cater to the BDSM crowd, etc.
If you've been here for so long and this is only your first post, what have you been doing to find someone?
There needs to be a bit of effort involved.

Change it back its dreadful, have you seen the amount of shite thats been put on the photo ad's your causing your mods a great deal of hastle....
what was wrong wit the old colours and old ways of doing things, couldnt you integrate the good bits with the old bits not completely change it...
Have a look a the poll... 80% of the people on here using it cant satand it...

i wish i could say rant over but the more i use it the more it annoys me...

This is the diet i use, once upon a time i lost 4 stone, but that was many years ago...

What i would really like along with the strapping sexy bloke shagging me 5 times a day would be a gym buddy, someone who is also overweight to go to the gym with, so i dont look a complete pratt on my own....
Any volounteers... for the 5xDaily shag or for the gym buddy???? :twisted:
And i really do hope this idea takes off in january!

Next time you look at the advert, check out the size of the fork.... same goes for their new add for the party food.... the cocktail stick looks like a tree trunk the camera is that close!!!
Make your own and feel more satisfied about it!
1 cup unsalted butter or unsalted margarine
8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, or bars, cut into bite-size chunks
5 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
4 teaspoons flour
8 extra-large paper muffin cups (or use regular paper muffin cups, which will make 12 cakes)

DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter and chocolate in a medium heat-proof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water; remove from heat. Beat eggs, sugar and salt with a hand mixer in a medium bowl until sugar dissolves. Beat egg mixture into chocolate until smooth. Beat in flour or matzo meal until just combined. (Batter can be made a day ahead; return to room temperature an hour or so before baking.)
Before serving dinner, adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 450 degrees. Line a standard-size muffin tin (1/2 cup capacity) with 8 extra-large muffin papers (papers should extend above cups to facilitate removal). Spray muffin papers with vegetable cooking spray. Divide batter among muffin cups.
Bake until batter puffs but center is not set, 8 to 10 minutes. Carefully lift cakes from tin and set on a work surface. Pull papers away from cakes and transfer cakes to dessert plates.
Sounds good to me... gonna try it out this weekend

Surely to God this has to be a wind up......
Im gonna throw my tuppence worth in just for the hell of it...
We went to our first munch on saturday (and what a night out!) the hardest thing we had to do was put our names on the "lets meet up" thread and walk through the door....
You have already had people saying they would be happy to travel a bit to go to a social... so what went wrong?
i can almost guarentee you that if i posted up a thread in LMU with a date a fair bit in advance, there would be people wou would like to meet up, and im not meaning the locals on here but folk you and i dont know yet....
my advice to you.....
try again, with a date and a venue in mind (although keep the venue quiet till you get closer to the time).. you never know, you might get the same responce as last time "we would love to"
