i agree....you were doing the right thing....perhaps wouldnt have hurt to actually walk past the car tho.....every situation is different...and most dont put internal lights on now (which doesnt help)....i was near a car once...that i was convinced had a couple in...i got out my car and stood by it as did another guy...the other dogger came over to me to ascertain that there were def a couple in the car.....twenty mins went by...then the guy (couple) got out of his car...and asked us why we were waiting!!...why hadnt we come over??....amazing!

one of my most memorable was on a cold wintry evening in the east midlands....sitting alone at a fairly popular dogging resort...two cars came in within a few mins of each other and parked nearby....driving past i saw both had couples in..."yehaaa"...so i parked nearer...waited a while...got out of my car and stood by the side of my car looking over thanking god.

heart pounding not believeing my luck, pre-empting all the forthcoming sexual scenarios i leaned in the window to say hell to katie....and found myself saying hello to a labrador.
what i have found is wherever you go doggers are generally open,honest and welcoming to newcomers....same story in every location...sometimes there are boyracers....sometimes there are moron doggers who do everything wrong and scare people off...but in general most people are happy to chat and discuss the latest shows.

I cant totally agree thats its a decision i ever want to make.
