Unfortanately it is very easy to copy an ebay login screen and host on another computer. I would have thought that ebay could send an email out to it's customers instead of relying on threads like these in forums . . I suppose they are only there to make money !
The advise I had is never login/enter any details of any kind from a URL packaged in an email. That way you should be safe.
Hopefully we will save someonefrom doing this.

Just a warning guys, got an email saying my ebay account may have been compromised and to login etc. This is scam.
Lots going around at the moment, saying Bidder has cancelled and to click on item. They all take you to an ebay login screen - this is not ebay.
To be safe never click on a URL from an email, always safer to login via IE in the normal way and take a look.
Was told about the scams via work.
Thought I would let you know as I know there are some ebayers out there.
