I need to rant after yet again being let down at the last minute by two blokes. I won't name and shame but oh how I want to!!

I really don't understand the mindset of someone who answers a clear advert, which includes a location, date and time....and if they behave they will be cumming one way or another! Then enters into text conversation over the week, culminating in going quieter and quieter until either they say they can't make it on the day or worse still no contact at all when I aske the direct question 'Are you coming tonight?'.

One of the blokes excuses today is that he is having his car serviced!! WTF! Did he not know that earlier than this morning? You can't make it up!

We are a young (ish) couple, well she is , who have small children so it takes a lot of planning to get out and meet. I reckon we are let down at least once in every two attempts. So frustrating.

Any tips or advice on how to avoid these time wasters?
