I'm down just for saturday night but not sure if I will be able to make it now, just been hit with £400 bill to fix my boiler which is only 3 years old, and it cant be fixed until end of next week  or unless I can find someone to go halfs on my hotel with me I wont be able to come down. :-( I'll let you know by end of the month if I can come.
I used to reply to all messages but some people just wont take no for an answer and will get people replying back saying please give me a chance I am genuine. So now I have a comment on my profile which if it isnt mentioned in the subject title of any messages I get I just automatically delete the message, also I dont reply to anyone that doesnt match what I am looking for and it also says that on my profile.
If she is so set against having kids and would consider an abortion if she got pregnant then why doesnt she just get sterilizated.

That is what I AM trying to understand.
People with this disability seem to show levels of it.
Now the question is did this guy know what he was doing, and how serious it was. I do not think myself or anyone else here can be the judge of that one.
Only medical doctors and the courts will decide, but surely he has a case to answer?
I understand what Soul is saying as she can speak from first hand experiences, but she does not know the level of this guys disability, no more than I do.
Nobody here has answered the easy question as to why OUR Home Secretary did not stop the extradition. He obviously thinks this guy has a case to answer too.
Only the Doctors can decide IF he knew what he was doing and the implications of it. I do not know nor does anyone else here, each case is different to the next and that is why I wanted to know IF there were different levels of this disability.

It doesnt matter what level he has its the fact that Shireen keeps saying it "The hardest thing is getting people to understand that people who have Asperger's DO NOT understand the concept of consequence..."
I was discussing something similar a few months back in one of the chatrooms, there was a room called Straight men suck cock, and I never really understood how someone can say they are straight if they will suck cock, maybe bi-curious or bi but can they be straight if they do suck cock.
As I've said before if you have never lived with someone who has Aspergers then you will never understand them and clearly from the newspaper article the writer knows nothing about the disability.
I cant watch scary movies, goes back to when I was about 10 and my friend at school put on Halloween and it scared me to much I havent been able to watch any since. Even adverts on tv for scary movies make me hide behind pillows.
Facebook is the least of your problems. Look at the internet as a whole there are so many different sites that a child can go on and go into chatrooms and how safe are these sites. There has been many cases in the paper about teenage girls making friends with men in the chatrooms and end up exchanging mobile nos. and sending indecent pictures, god knows how many cases go un-reported.
My daughter is only 10 and she has asked to join facebook as she wants to play the games on there, but as its for 13 years + she hasnt been able to join. I often wonder why some of these sites dont ask for parent authorisation for their children who are under 16 years old if they allow them to join the site. I know of only one site that does this and that is club pengiun which sends an email to the parents email account and asked if you are ok with them joining and which sort of account they can have ie they can chat to people when playing the game or just play the game. I am able to go into my daughters account on there and check the account at any time to see what she has been doing.
My daughter has her own laptop and mobile phone and I trust her 100% to be sensible when using both of them. She often asks me if she is able to join different sites and we sit down and go through the site together and if I dont approve then she wont join. However I dont know if when she is older that she will approve of me checking the sites, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Move a little soil so it looks like you have buried the hamster and put it in the bin. I made the mistake of burying our guinea pig and ended up digging it up 3 years later when I was doing a make over of the garden
For christmas I dont want presents I just want to see the smiles on my kids faces as they open their presents lol

I asked my 10 year old daughter what Christmas was all about and heres her comments:-
"Christmas is a time for everyone to go stupid and spend hours in shops spending money on stuff that most people wont use. You spend hours in the supermarket, why are all the shelves empty of food the shops are only shut for a few days and why do the shops have to shut.
And then you have the sales just after Christmas, whats the point in buying presents for people if you are only going to find them reduced 4 days later.
And why does everyone go on about an excuse to get drunk and eat too much and a time for families to get together. Shouldnt you be getting together more with your family throughout the year than just on one day a year."
Dont think I will be getting anything off her for christmas then lol

I wonder if she would still think the same if ya got her nothing to open on Xmas day?
You could say " don't worry I can buy it all in the sales ". Hmmmm a change of attitude might well prevail there. lol
Actually she isnt getting much this christmas only a few cheap presents and the rest in cash to spend in the sales

i love cats, cant stand dogs tho they shit all over the streets and it really annoys me when their owners dont clean it up mad

Should try living where I do 18 cats in a street with 13 houses and the amount of cat mess I get on my garden is stupid.
Personally I dont mind dogs had a lovely English Bull Terrior in the past, but my preference is reptiles. I have 2 bearded dragons (one which I rescued cos the previous owner hadnt a clue about looking after them) and a gecko. Also have 2 guinea pigs, 8 stick insects and a gold fish.
Are the stick insects food for the reptiles? (Intentionally or otherwise) bolt
Nope lol stick insects were yet more pets I rescued lol
The Bearded Dragons eat locusts and mealworms so have 100's of them in the house as well.

Sorry disability I did not even know what it was.
The question that this all hinges on is....did he KNOW what he was doing and the possible implications IF caught?
Time will tell IF he did or did not, and that is where this case lies on the evidence for me.

Did he know what he was doing and the possible implications if caught, well no one will really know not for another 10-20 years due to lack of research into the disability. An Aspergers person doesnt understand right from wrong, you can look a person in the face with Aspergers but they wont make eye contact with you half the time, they wont actually be listening to what you say half the time and if they are listening they wont understand half of what you are saying. I can repeat the same thing over and over again to my son but he still wont understand, it can takes weeks, sometimes months for him to understand the most simple instructions.
For Mckinnon to go to trial would be totally impossible, you would need a second person to try and explain everything that was being said in court so that he would be able to understand it in his own mind.
People with Aspergers like a routine so for instance getting up at the same time, eating at a regular time, they like to know where their personal items are and line things up for instance tin cans in cupboards would be lined up by height, clothes neatly folded and in colour order, if Mckinnon was tried and sent to prison he would not be able to cope, the fact that he would be enclosed in a cell for 20 hours per day and not have his own personal items around him would simply make his disability worse.
Unless you live with someone who have Asperger or Autism you will never fully understand the condition and until more research is done I dont think it would be fair to try to McKinnon.

You seem a reasonably clued up geezer.....would YOU know how to hack into anyones computer, let alone the Yanks?
I am pretty computer literate yet I would not even have a clue.
Is it POSSIBLE that despite his " illness " he knew exactly what he was doing?
Are you really telling me that this young lad who has Aspirgers, was not responsible as he did not understand what he was doing, and nobody from this Government have stepped in to try and stop his impending extradition?
If that is the case....something smells very funny.
I am not judging him or his actions, as I do not understand how he even did it, my concern is his illness. I do not know enougn about it, but it seems it did not stop him from hacking into something, that the Americans are taking very seriously indeed.
Nobody here can safely say what all the evidence is they have against him, but certainly enough for the Brits to grant the Yanks his extradition, and on that basis it must be a serious issue.
It does seem very strange though how someone like this guy, has the knowledge and the know how to break into their systems...or are people implying that it is not as serious as is being made out?
Will hold me judgement until ALL the facts are released.

It is not an illness it is a mental disability.

Kenty - imagine you get into work one morning and someone has left a note on your desk saying you really should sort your locks out, I got in with a hairgrip, someone could nick all your equipment and stock.
They didn't damage or take anything, just alerted you to the fact that your security was poor.
Would you want that person found and put in prison, or would you thank your lucky stars that the break wasn't malicious, and sort your locks out?
(I'm sure your locks are fine btw smile
Having Aspergers, depending on the severity, he might well not have understood the full implications of what he was doing. People like this are often brilliant at maths and problem solving, but aren't safe to cross the road on their own.

I am so glad that people have picked up on the Asperger's Syndrome, my son is currently been tested for this along with ASD, they know he has one of them but doctors been doctors they have to run their tests.
Now my son is only 5 years old and recently went to watch his 10 year old sister in a science competition and he answered 90% of the questions rights (he wasnt taking part just wanted to join in for fun). My daughters teacher was sat next to him and couldnt believe he got so many right. Out of the 21 10 year old theres the highest score was 92% and the lowest was 72%.
However my son cant do the most simply things like get dressed, get washed and use a knife or fork. He doesnt understand when someone is being nice to him or being horrible, he doesnt understand jokes and basically he has trouble fitting in with children of his own age. He prefers to spend hours on his own surfing the internet, than playing with other children. He also has a fear of large groups of people so doing basic things with him like going shopping is a nightmare. He often doesnt realise when he is doing something wrong and you have to spend so much time watching what he does around the house because he has no fear of danger.
I believe this man clearly didnt understand what he was getting into Asperger is a mental disability that no one really understands full and if you read previous reports on Mckinnon he has a fear of flying, what are they going to do knock him out for the whole flight to America.

Right,stayed away,cant resist any longer.
The housing benifit system is screwded,it pushes up rents in some areas and creates ghettoes in others where it is not worth maintaining houses to a decent standard.
If people want to debate reforms to a system that distorts the housing market then fine, but the colour of the skin of one family who are using the flawed system is irrelevant.I can gurantee there are 9 th generation white british exploiting the system, but they wont make the front page of the scum.
personally think there should be a flat national rate,to encourage a move from the inner cities and south east and to cut the prfits of unscrupulous landlords

Well take my case as an example....
I have a mortgage on my property so all things being equal eventually I may well end up owning it outright.....
The DSS would not help me while I was out of work by paying around £80 per month interest to keep the wolves from the door but....
If I had given my house up or surrendered it to the building society and moved to the house next door (exactly the same house as they are 2 semi's joined together) which is owned by a private landlord they would have happily paid the £500/£600 per month rent for me........
Where is the logic in that ?
It helps no-one but the private landlord.....
I'm in the same boat but luckily they will pay the interest on my mortgage (but I had to wait 39 weeks before they did so have arrears), however if they paid all my mortgage its only £400 a month, but instead I am trying to sell my house and will have to move into rented and the local council will have to pay the £650 a month rent. So basically they would be better off paying my mortgage than paying my rent, but hey they cant do that, I'd be saving them £250 but they dont see it like that.
So is the law different for people who claim asylum to British people who claim rent off the social.
The law is children of the same sex can sleep in the same room up until the age of 10, then from the age of 10 years old females and males can share the same room.
So they have 6 bedrooms, one for mom, one for grand, and 4 bedrooms for 8 children, but under hosuing rules they offically only need 2 bedrooms. And lets not go into the father with the seperate flat.
My friend lives with her husband, 5 children 1 who is disabled and needs her own bedroom for specialist bed and equipment to go in and she also has her 2 grandchildren living with her and they live in a 4 bedroom house which was rented privately by the council as the council couldnt find them a council house which had disabled access and this is what the council said that was the largest house they could allocate them.
So an asylum seeker with 11 people in their family gets a 6 bedroomed house and a 2 bedroomed flat and a British family with 9 people in gets a 4 bedroom house.
I have alot of vanilla friends in Gloucester who dont know I'm on the swinging scene (ok well didnt) and was up there a few weeks ago and they were all talking about the Swinging Hotel as they call it. They were all having a good laugh at what it was going to be like and what sort of people would be going and its so funny to hear how people who dont know anything about the scene look upon the scene.
Well they joked about going to have a look at some websites and see what some other clubs were ike and theres me keeping very quiet and my best mate goes to me you're very quiet and she could tell by the look on my face and went bloody hell you've been to a swinging club havent you and I had to come clean with them about it. Strange how there views changed on the scene after we'd chatted, couldnt talk any of them into joining SH though.
And its funny how there views on me have changed as well they always used to see me as the quiet one of the group - theres 12 of us and I was always the good girl as they called me lol
Been ill for 3 weeks with the flu, had hospital appointment today and had to be weighed and I've lost 1/2 stone lol so being ill does have its advantages
Oh there are ways around banks if you are lucky. I set up a child saving account in 2005 and its taken me until a month ago to get the bank to change account so that no tax is paid. About every 3 months I would go in to the bank get the woman to send off the relevant tax form to their head office and it would get lost in the internal post. Every time this happened I would complain about this and every time they have credited £50 to my daughters account as I told them I have to keep getting taxis into town to fill out a new form and just how inconvient its been for me. So far I've done that 15 times times that by £50 = £750. Shame now that they have actually changed the account as it was turning into a nice little nest egg for my daughter when shes older.
Dave
I'm lazy, could you put a list up on your first post so we can see whos coming to the social so I can perve their profiles.
Soulie x
Had similar experience with my ex on here, he would come online and no one would talk to him in general chat it was always whispers from single guys asking to meet, but as soon as I was online everyone would general chat and ask to to meet in general chat. He started to get really pissed off with the fact that single males would whisper him asking to meet us even through at the time we decided to try meeting couples. It got to the stage where he would no longer come online in the chatrooms and really drove a wedge between us.
You really have to be a tough cookie in the chatrooms sometimes and just let it ride over your head, cos there will always be the people that push it too much sometimes.
However I would like to say that there has been a few single males who did ask to meet and as always I used to say sorry only meeting couples but still ended up chatting to them in general chat and they became good friends. Sometimes single guys just use it as a way to break the ice so dont knock them all.

as someone who falls into the catagory of a stick insect (as you so nicely call me) i think i am within my rights to be offended but i'm not i really couldn't give two hoots!
I'm 7 stone 2 n all my life i've tried to put on weight, i've put up with derogatory comments from school friends, work friends, family even the gp who's comment was 'oooo loads of women would love to be like you' would they? no actually i dont think they would if they actually thought about it.
its not nice to be called stick insect or snappy or have comments like hey watch you dont fall down that drain or dont stand behind that lampost we wont find you again.
if you want me to be perfectly honest i wish i was overweight cuz at least then i'd be able to do something about it, lose weight, join weight watchers slimming world, & various other organisations to get help but because i'm naturally thin i get nothing.
to me over weight people have a choice be fat, stay fat or lose weight, what choice do i have?

But some people that are overweight do not have a choice. I spent 8 years wondering why my size went from size 8 to 22 then back to 12 then up to 22 again. I eat a normal diet, didnt drink, exercised. Then just by chance when I was pregnant I found out I had a medical condition an underactive Thyroid Gland and once I was put on tablets my size has now dropped down to size 14 and has stayed this way for a year now. I am happy with my size now.
I can see it from the other size through so I am not having a pop at anyone as my cousin is size 4, and she eats as little as possible. She exercises way too much and has been know in the past to make herself sick. She always looks ill and has been unable to have children because of her weight issue. And yet she still claims shes fat.
