I always thought the one truly great book Gaiman wrote (leaving aside comics) was American Gods, which is a fantastic read. Shame he's a bit of a tool in real life (his shameless name dropping is quite repulsive in the flesh).
I never thought of Well's et al as counting as Steam Punk, purely because they were writing at the time, for me it kind of starts and finishes with the Difference Engine. I'm plowing through the Baroque Cycle at the moment which I guess could be seen as a bit Steam Punkish.
Sounds like an issue with your M$ DRM software. Someone else wrote this little guide:
1. Open Internet Explorer and go to
2. Click the Upgrade button (if the button is greyed out then proceed to step 4)
Once the process has completed the text on the page should change to: Progress Status: The security components have been upgraded successfully. To play protected files, restart your digital media player. If you cannot play protected files after restarting your digital media player, restart your computer.
3. Try to download something free from 4oD
4. If you still experience problems it may be necessary for you to re-install Windows Media Player or upgrade to version 11.
a) First remove Windows Media Player using the Add & Remove programs utility in your Control Panel
(Proceed to the next step if Windows Media Player does not appear here)
b) Using Internet Explorer download the latest version of Windows Media Player from Microsoft website:
c) Run the Windows Media Player setup file to install it.
5. Finally download the latest 4oD setup file from
then run it and choose Repair.
Restart your computer and launch 4oD again. Please first test with free content.
If that doesn't work have you checked the help site for 4OD?
I abandoned IE for FF for a while, then switched back to IE7 when it was launched. When Chrome launched I found myself swapping to that, mainly because handled long conversations on it far better then on IE/FF, and also because of the memory isolation for tabs. Apparently IE8 now has all that stuff so I might well be swapping back to that. Having used most mainstream browsers since Mosaic it's always been my experience that it's worth chopping and changing between them.
If you're unable to get to websites for anti-virus companies etc then there's a good chance you've got something that's blocking that. Unfortunatly there's only so far you can go before you have to get technical and start running something like Hijack This and trying to understand the results. Can you get to any online scans?
If you can't get to either of those then you're in trouble.
With regard to disk cleans up etc does a much better job of freeing up disk space, sorting out your registry etc then the built in tools. They also do a defrag tool that lets you manage the defrag on a much more granular basis, the problem with the builtin defragger is that it has to put up with page file writers and other annoyances.
Aside from the price inflation at checkin I don't have a problem with Easyjet. However I would never fly Ryanair again. There was an interesting C4 documentry on them, and the very suspect business practices that they have. There's a reason that they manage to get such a quick turnaround, which you'll realise when you're sitting in a pile of sick from the previous flight.
While Easyjet et al charge you for hold baggage etc Ryanair is the only company that charges a "disability tax" because they got sued for charging people for taking wheelchairs on their planes so decided to simply charge everyone for that.
Having said all that I guess it's personal preference, I won't fly Ryanair just as I won't buy non organic meat, or Israeli produce.
/me goes to buy his Saturday copy of The Guardian
Hate to admit it but I was cheering on the French, I do think Wales are turning into the ABs of the Northern Hemisphere, getting away with far too many things that other sides are getting penalised with. Now if only England could get the kind of quick ball that the French managed to secure.
The film that always has me with a trembling stiff upper lip is Zulu. When they do the roll call at the end of it.
What's he doing with the rest of his disposable income? Is he saving for a house deposit or something, or is he just having a good time? I know I pay about 30% of my take home pay in rent but have bills on top of that. If he's taking home that much I think you could happily double or triple the amount.
I always thought of getting very wet as something, ummm, normal. Ie it's not something that happens when you orgasm, just part of the road to one. Squirting/gushing/ejaculating seems to be an actual manifestation of an orgasm. In my experience it's pretty much always (but not 100%) linked to g-spot stimulation.
Thinking back about it I can see what you mean. Ejaculating is like being on a wave, and you want to keep riding it for as long as possible, not wanting it to stop. Certainly fits with my experience. I guess that sometimes it coincides with fisting which seems to be an activity which leaves women utterly exhausted, so that the two have always been combined in my mind. Something worth thinking about.
Intrigued by the nipple stimulation alone working Bouncy. Do you have very sensitive nipples, or is it quite a lot of work on them that has you orgasming from them being played with? Will hold my hands up to never having done it.
Very much a question, just seeing if I understand the post. From my experience when women 'squirt' they tend to have a far more powerful orgasm then usual. Maybe it's just because so few do it that when it happens it's so out of the ordinary it feels more intense. Can you get blase about orgasms?
You find squirting less intense then a clitorial orgasm Minx?
No, the market should be allowed to dictate when Christmas fare is sold. If people buy Christmas stuff in October then they should be allowed to.
Should SH observe the 2 mins silence today?
How on earth did I end up in Manchester!
Alive or dead?
Solo or band?
It's a tricky one because most people love lots of different types of music and within each genre there's going to be a stand out artist, so it's like asking people to say what's their favourite sort of music. And is it about the music they produce, or something more then that? For example you might like the Levellers because they behave in a manner true to their musical ethos (or so they claim).
