I'm watching it as well - and no I wouldn't!
Implants are always unnecessary surgery

and if I were to ask, so must I!

Heck her boobs are so big you can hardly see the rest of her!

I don't think that they are unnecessary in all cases.
As for having them to keep a man, that's wrong. I'm not watching the program but if someone wants surgery doing it should be for themselves not for anyone else.

amen to that Kate....no man is worth doing that for in order to keep him.

reconstruction, verses cosmetic surgery could very easily viewed differently.
though admittedly, as far as I saw, the programme in question was purely cosmetic.

Natural is always best.
Mike.
Sorry Kate I was being a bit black and white, I suppose you could argue the case after mastectomy , although many women find the idea abhorrent in those very circumstances, I can understand it.
Otherwise nope.
Cosmetic surgery for the purposes of vanity... no.
Cosmetic surgery for medical issues... yes.
I don't want to keep a man... so no!
I have an implant... of the contraceptive variety!
Oh... and her tits were hideous! wink
To keep a man definitely not!   Love me love my body and like it or you know where the door is!
People do need them though medically and for vanity and Its not always to do with vanity, Its about self confidence and actually feeling like a women. I have always been huge chested but I know of people who are virtually flat and they dont feel all women somehow which I can fully understand

Yup... I would include that in medical though because it's going to benefit their overall wellbeing and lots of people have issues about their body that affect their mental health. For vanity... I'm talking about the likes of Jodie Marsh and Jordan.

No need to apologise. I just wanted to point out that there is a grey area and not everyone has surgery for 'vain' reasons.
As you mention, some people have surgery after mastectomy, also as DG and Tan said, some people have massive problems with larger breasts, while others don't develop breasts and therefore implants make them feel more feminine.
I did nearly have mine done a few years ago, purely cos I wanted bigger boobs. Funnily enough it was my boyfriend at the time who talked me out of it. He told me that if I wanted it doing he'd pay for it but that there was nothing wrong with what I had and ma be I'd be better off waiting till later in life where there was something to actually fix, rather than just fancying a bigger pair lol
I'm now so glad I didn't do it when I wanted to co I think I'd hate them now.
A woman shouldn't have to have implants to keep her man. She should have them because she wants em. Bit of a tw*t the guy would be if he was pressuring her into having them in my opinion.
The only reason I'd have them done is if I wanted them bigger. If a guy said he'd leave if I didn't I'd be packing his bag for him confused
if it makes ya happy then have it done..but to keep a man?..well if thats what it takes to keep your man, your with the wrong man..

Mike. Honestly, we have seen some where you just wouldn't know by look or feel the breasts just looked like really nice natural size and shape breasts, lovely things they were, and hey they made us feel good and if the person sporting them feels good about having them too then thats good.
Agreeing with it being for the person who has them's sake though and not for any other reason

I don't know if you were watching the same programme I was watching but the women there didn't have implants just to keep their men. It was a lot more complicated than that.
The American and the oriental ladies were in the porn industry and 'used' their implants as an asset. Yes, the oriental lady was unhappy with it and wanted, in the future, to have them reduced but it was obvious her partner was the driving force behind the huge implants but she did say that she wouldn't give up what she's got now because she earns good money.
What I found very sad was the Brazilian girl who had serious emotional issues and I'd say some sort of Body Dysmorphic Disorder. What she needed was counselling not more huge implants. How awful and totally unethical of those doctors to proceed with surgery when she was clearly not emotionally stable. Poor girl.
I agree with the general consensus that in certain circumstances implants are necessary for medical reasons or serious emotional issues for example. It would be extremely sad and tragic if women had breasts implants just to please a man. I surely hope that doesn’t really happen.
I wouldn't do anything to keep a man who really didn't want to be with me. I'd rather just be with someone who did!
No I wouldn't.
You get what you get with me!! biggrin
I would really really hope not.
If you decide to have them, then it should be for personal reasons only. If someone is putting pressure on you to mutilate yourself for them there is a simple answer. Foot, Arse, Door.
I caught the end of that programme briefly. Very disturbing.
If a man wanted me to change me in that way Id get rid of the man. I wanted a man to want me for the way I am faults and all and ive got one.

I split up from my previous husband, who seriously screwed my head up by his continual sniping, and down right rude remarks about my body, boobs especially!
We should accept each other for the way we are, and never change for a man, or woman!
You should hit him with a 2" by 4" Lucy! you have fantastic tits!!!! kiss
A man who implies the woman he is with needs to change to make the relationship work, is talking to the wrong person in the relationship. Same the other way round.

Me too I had an ex huby like your ex huby and I got rid of him. He said things to me like, for example, dont take that jumper of and let my friends see your fat arms. He made me feel that I was fat when I was a lot slimmer than I an now but my B/F is totaly different biggrin
To answer your question, No, Never, not for a man anyway. If i wanted to have it done it would be because i wanted it done, not coz someone else would want me to have it done!
