Thatcher manufactured the war with Argentina in the same way that she manufactured the war with the miners. Both were cynical acts of political posturing designed to cement her place in history.

Did I really just read that? How did Thatcher manufacture the war with Argentina???

Singe Females.

Erm ... just looked at list to check I was there and want to know what the hell is a 'singe' female??
Also ..... anyone (who I have met before) wanna share a room? No, that's not an offer of a shag. lol

Can you squeeze me in? I should get myself organised by November. rolleyes

Do I know you?
Are you a well behaved person at social events?
Name's on the list and you should have a PM on it's way to you. ;) kiss
Of course I am always well behaved at social events. I am sure someone here can attest to that.
I never get drunk and throw up in buckets. I never swap clothes with anyone. I never randomly snog people. I never, and I mean never, sneak back into the hotel room at 7am.
Sheesh ... it's amazing how rumors can ruin a gals reputation around here.
I have something very shameful to admit.
I was a bully when I was younger. Wierd thing is I didn't realise what I was doing was bullying until I looked back on it many years later.
The girl that I was bullying turned to me one day and quite simply slapped me. All my bravado went out the window and I never teased her again. Even more wierd we ended up becoming friends.
I am in no way saying you should encourage your child to slap someone I just wanted to say that bullys are mostly cowards.
That is the first time I have ever actually told anyone I was a bully. I am highly ashamed of it and just as glad that someone stopped me.

Either y'all STILL don't know me well enough rolleyes or I just need to borrow LPT's corner.

Did I just get a 'sympathy corner'? Beats a 'sympathy shag' I guess.
Ta LPT xx
* stomps foot *
I just realised no-one would do anything for me.

Of course it's all the men that are perverts... The ladies are far too refined to post an advert for their sexual fetishes innocent

Oh crap ... erm ... I dont really mention liking dominant men in my ad ... I promise.
Licac Hun, I only just saw this.
I am in some ways glad that I have been absent dealing with family stuff as it would surley have sickened and disappointed me if I had seen what has been hinted at.
I cant tell you how to handle your situation as you are the only one who knows how you feel. All I can do is tell you how I have handled something similar.
I know of two people here on SH that are regulars who do not care for me. At first I was a little bothered but then I realised that it was ok because to be fair you can't make everyone like you. If I felt I had to try and make people like me then they are not worth the effort (if that makes sense). I have seen these two individuals at different functions and had no problem being polite to them in passing as I am rather past the high school stage of scratching eyes out. Its kind of like in a work situation. You dont always like everyone you work with but you are able to deal with them when you come across them in a polite and professional manner. And you know what? I know that I felt better knowing I had the maturity to handle it that way rather than follow in their footsteps and made snide comments on the side.
I am sorry that this has affected you in this way and please remember (as someone esle said) for the one that doesnt like you there are no doubt a hundred that do. Plus how am I gonna get to perv you if you dont go to munches?
Quote by Sassy-Seren

I propose all future Munches should be non-alcohol events and with a strict dress code of his and her boiler suits.
Regards,
Kinky Lizard

Or in Abilene's case, someone else's boiler suit innocent bolt
Geeez I wasn't even there!!! Also, are you trying to say I make a habit of changing clothes at munches? Shame on you!!
Someone may have already said this ( but I am too lazy right now to read ) but first you need to strip the hair. You can but the correct chemicals at a proper beauty supply store and then it needs to be treated ( special conditioner ) and then you should be safe to dye it. I would advise leaving a few days between stripping and dying although not necesary.
How do I know this? Cos when I went from black to blonde once I went via green first.

Now I know some people have a bitchometer which goes off scale at times and every venom dripped word is meant wholeheartedly and they seem to take pleasure in it.

rolleyes I'm working on correcting that. Sorry

Nahhh I am just as perverted but still waiting for a volunteer photographer ( who can hide my bumps and flaws lol)

What type of portfolio are you looking for? wink
I want something sexy yet discreet that shows my love for BDSM ... if that makes sense. lol

What bumps and flaws blink
Now I know for a FACT that you have seen me naked so you know exactly what bumps and flaws I refer to. Quit being sweet to flirt with me, you know you had me at 'hello'

Quote by westerross
Certainly doesn't make you a hypocrite but, would I be right in saying that you are concerned about appearances or what other people think?

Good Lord No !!! It's about how I feel. I just don't feel ladylike if I tower over my date. I would feel butch (for sake of a better word) which is not a feeling that I personally like and therefore I would not feel comfortable or sexy. Now that may sound shallow but I know me well enough to know that if I do not feel sexy with someone then all I am going to end up doing is attempting to 'fake it' and that's not on.

Ok, silly question. Do they make you look pregnant?

Bob, you've made me feel incredibly stupid after reading that. There's me wittering on about a freaking dentist appointment and I'm forgetting about people like yourself who have much bigger worries.
I nurse cancer patients on a daily basis and although we all have phobias/things that give us the eebie jeebies, I feel very humbled knowing you're going through this.
Fingers crossed for you Bob and I hope the news is good :therethere:

Oi !! Nobodys problems or worries are stupid. If they are important to you then they are just that ... important.
Bob, my thoughts are with you. Fingers and toes crossed. (not my legs though)
Ok .... steps forward to make a complete fool out of herself.
What is a 'smock top'? Someone post a pic.

Don't you find though, that you tend to stick to people within your own age group - not necessarily through a mental choice, but just because it turns out that way??? dunno

It's certainly what we've found
Sorry ... I had a comment all thought out and then couldn't stop staring at your avatar. Lost me train of thought!!

Again, this is a case of 'Whatever blows your frock up'! Each to their own! Mrs DD is just 5', but one of our greatest 'special' friends towers over me at 6' in her stockings - stick a pair of heels on her and my head is at the same level as her boobies!!!.. lovely!!!

Sassy makes a note to buy Abi a pair of high heels
Ooooo perfect cos he does have a nice shiny head that would fit perfectly in my cleavage.
I was thinking more of MY head, not his confused
Well, get PP 4 organised and we will have to see how it fits.

It's ok now Dark Abi's back....no-one'll get a word in rolleyes :giggle:

I have a silly (I know it's silly before y'all tell me) rule of thumb that I use.
Half my age plus ten is the youngest I will date. So I am 34 ... therefore the youngest I will date is 27. For me this has worked. Anything younger than that and there tends to be conversational problems.
What is the youngest you would date? Why?

Personally speaking Abi, I am more interested in what your maximum age would be :rascal:
Hmmm good question. Don't have a formula for that but the biggest age gap has been 20 years. I was 31 he was 51. He was great until he started talking to me the same way he did his kids.

27 The perfect age hint, hint wink
To be honest age doesnt really bother me much, it all depends on what the person is like.

I do agree to a certain extent about 'depends on the person' I just find any younger than that and for me it sometimes gets hard finding things to talk about that are mutually interesting.
27 eh?
