Hi there. Help needed.
When I try to go to a particular room from the lobby it will take me to a mere 'shell' of the room and then freeze. I cant veen go back to the lobby or logout so I have to wait 5 minutes to try again.
I have now tried 3 times to get into a particular room but to no avail.
Advice or wine appreciated.
P.S. I have the D900 as well and I love it... except for the flat keypad when texting. I have to actually look at each key I hit instead of instinctively feel my way around the pad. Otherwise fab phone for taking/sending pics etc.

The Palm Treo is really good for all the things you metioned. It is a little bulkier than all the madern fashion slimline phones but that is due to it having a mini keyboard on it for your doc capability.

Ok, so I may be reading too much into this as some of you have pointed out. Yes, 'sick to my stomach' may sound too harsh. Can't help how I feel right now though. I absolutley abhor racists and to think I may have turned down guys/girls based on skin color is something that bothers me. Yes, I know that I don't have an attraction to shorter guys and all the other things that someone just mentioned in email to me but this feels different.

One thing that I think the FIG (Falklands Islands Government) insists on when you go there is that you have to prove you have accomodation set up (renting, hotel booking etc) and that you have enough money to sustain your visit. What a wonderful rule.

I guess my only issue with what you said is that while you mention the Argentinian warship you failed to mention the two British ones that were sunk, one of which was in a 'stand down' position at the time. You fail to mention the 3 Falkland civilians killed (not going to quote losses on both military sides), you also fail to mention that the Falkland Islanders who have lived on thise islands for many generations who are adamntly opposed to being forced under Argentinian control. You also fail to mention that the Argentinian government has even refused the offer of shipping home the bodies of the deceased soldiers so that they can be put to rest near their families. The same Argentinian government that refuses to allow flights to or from the islands so the families can even visit their graves there.
Yes, Thatcher had her faults but to say that she prolonged the war is a little outlandish (in my opinion). The Argentinians surrendered (quite rightly - again in my opinion) after two months when they realised they had severely underestimated the British resolve to not be bullied.
May I ask what kind of message it would have sent if a impoverished and politically troubled nation (as they were at the time) could take from Britain a country the size of Wales. It would (in my opinion) send the message that a larger more well equiped country (say China, Russia or *gasp* the US) could take a shot at oh say Britain.

Instead of mailing the letters ( cos yes, very expensive) you could make little signs ( I love you or I miss you etc )and then take a picture and email to recipient ( or post on here ).
Or you could lay them in a trail ( like breadcrumbs ) for when your love comes home and at the end he finds you.

I'm not a damn Troll (although my hair resembles it right now) and am not trying to start a fight. I am just curious about that comment made wayyyyy early pre-council house debate in this post.
Yes I may be American so you are probably thinking "oh hush Yank for once y'all didn't start that war" Thing is though as some on here know I actually spent my childhood in this country and it happened to be under Thatcher. I remember the miners, I remember the right to buy, I remember poll tax and more importantly I remember The Falklands War. In no way did Thatcher manufature that. If you really feel the need to point blame you could always do what the Argentinians did and are doing once again ... point the finger a little further back in the English lineage.
Ok, ramble over ... patiently waiting for someone to maturely (instead of sarcasm please ;) ) tell me if I am wrong. I don't mind being wrong, really.
I have found that going to any pre-munch drinkies that usually get arranged helps take the nerves off a bit. Usually you gat chatting with others at this and make plans to meet in the hotel lobby to go the munch.
Now ( as a self confessed munch whore ) I am no longer nervous about going to the munches but I still go to the predrinks cos it's a fab way to catch up with others early on that you may get too busy to chat with later in the evening :twisted:
Having said all that I am down to go to a munch in London next month and looked at the list and know hardly anyone on it ( cos I usually go to the northern munches ) so does this make me a munch virgin all over again?
. When I click on the room and try to go I now see in the top left corner of the chat window it actually is trying to take me elsewhere ( like the Jacuzzi and such like) as I siad it is an empty shell room .. no people, no ability to type or anything.
