The office Christmas party is a bit quiet confused :?

Red and I have an office Christmas party every year. Off down the pub, plenty of booze and lots of surreptitious fumbling.... biggrin
Works for us!

worst one mad :x :x the vat man and tax man can come to my home :x :x :x :x

Fortunately we don't turn over enough to interest the VATman but the taxman visiting is definitely a big potential minus. Hasn't happened to us yet though....
Which reminds me.... must pay the tax bill before the end of the month.... sad
I work from home too and I reckon you've got the pros and cons spot on. Nothing for me to add!
I think my age in our profile is out by about 26 years.... rolleyes lol
Well, they say age is all in your head and I only feel about 26!
Then I must be really old - it felt like riches indeed when my pocket money went up to a tanner a week smile

Where is the "Bah! Humbug!" option? wink

There`s already five Bah Humbug options !!!
How many do ya want ?? rolleyes
Exactly! I wanted to select all of the five but you can't do that. A simple "Bah! Humbug!" sums it up nicely lol
<pulls up a chair and takes another pinch of snuff>
Think I'll see how this one develops before adding my two penn'oth wink

But you are still here!
Or are you?

Here again, briefly..... feeling like a jack-in-the-box!
I wasn't here but I am now, though I'll soon be off again.... work awaits!
Was that confusing enough? wink
In 1974 I was giving my mum £10 out of £40 net income per week. Seemed reasonable to me then to be paying 25% of my wages and it still seems reasonable.
Of course, what I didn't know until much later was that my mum wasn't spending that weekly £10 but saving it and when we needed a deposit for a house, she was there to help us out. Glad I never grumbled about what I paid in board!
Hmmm... yes. The Menin Gate. My granddad's brother's name is on that. Fortunately both my granddads came home from WW1, and my dad and his brothers from WW2.
Not forgetting.
I really was the inkwell monitor in infants school.....
I was 19, Red was 20. We're now 52 and 53. Married for 29 of those years. Got a long way to go to catch up with my parents though!
Looks like she will be. At the end of last night's episode they announced that Ashes to Ashes would be back next year. It's going to be a long wait....
And besides.... 6" is average, not small.
Don't be confused by all the monsters you see in porn films

In my dressing gown.... smile
And as Red is in the bath at the moment..... biggrin
Should be a fun party!

 I've just had an "ouch" moment!! would this be physically possible??

It certainly is biggrin
On the other hand, I can recall one occasion several years ago when we had to cancel after I fell on some metal stairs and did my back and pelvis in (fun time on a spinal board ensued....). I don't think we were believed.... I suppose it did sound improbable!

Sorry! Couldn't resist!
Just that silly sense of humour of mine....

A little faded???!!!
Only my hair.... gradually going blond.... lol
We might be over 50 but we certainly aren't past it! Up for it, yup hump
There is often a 50+ room in chat. Been there a few times.

Our kids are pretty cool about it. One even commented that we must have a very strong relationship. She wasn't wrong biggrin
She did however suggest that we might have even more fun if we weren't both straight....
That led to an interesting conversation!
Before anyone gets the wrong idea, our kids are all grown up now.

it seems to be getting more difficult for straight couples who are in the scene

Got to agree with that! We also seem to be finding more and more bi-fems who expect to be able to "convert" Red. Not really likely....
We're also finding more couples who don't seem to know just what they want, presumably because of not having talked things through fully before they dip their toes in the water. That does make it a little tricky for those like us, who know exactly what we want biggrin

Scunthorpe - on the east coast? Has it slipped or is coastal erosion getting worse on the south bank than the north bank of the Humber? wink

Some of us haven't forgotten what it was like before BBC2 even started up.....
Picture Book anyone? lol
CB
Number 1 when I was born: Pat Boone, I'll Be Home
Number 1 when I left school: Charles Aznavour, She
That dates me a bit!
For Red it's Slim Whitman, Rose Marie for when she was born. Leaving school one is the same as mine.

There are still plenty of flooded roads here in Hull and in some of the surrounding villages the water level is still rising.... sad

oh used to play some "game" i use the term loosley where by youd stand opp some one and have darts and throw them to th eground and the person hand to move their feet to that point, youd carry on till you could spread your legs no further.

At school we used to do that with penknives and worse.... Somehow I don't think it would go down too well these days.
Only just started snowing here in Hull though it is coming down quite heavily now. Hope it doesn't stop us travelling at the weekend....
