This thread is really interesting…
It’s strange to see that so many posts from new boys or girls on the site get loads of ‘welcome to the site’ ...

Aren't you confusing "vanilla" with "newbie".
A "vanilla" is very unlikely to join this site - by posting here you're showing that you at the very least have one or two choc chips...
OK, if we're getting all intellectual here, maybe we should distinguish between morals and rules.
Morals are things like "An' it harm none, Do what ye will"
and Rules are things like "Don't eat fish on a friday".
I think organised religions often impose rules on us by trying to pretend they are actually morals.

Just a little idea - how about a sticky for serious Suggestions (clean site related ones)?

I've only one suggestion.
No more cock threads!

guys.......can you just be happy with what you have and stop worring?

I'm very happy with what I have! wink
(Wink was the closest emoticon to smug grin I could find)

There are alot of well meaning people in the church, but organised religion as a rule, is just a business. Look at the Vatican.

It's all the same political game - whether it's politics, business or religion. It's all about getting power over people...
Quote by burnie
In other words, don't look to religion and do-gooders to find morality. Look within yourself.

Wise words!

A designated naturist beach should be just that - for Naturists!

Definitely agree,100%.
We don't go to nudist beaches, but when we're in the Med we quite often search out the more remote beaches, and there you'll normally find a scattering of nudists.
It's always interesting to see our childrens' reactions to the nudists.
That is, there is no reaction. None at all. Building sand castles and paddling is far more fun that looking at some guy's willy...
(And I have to say that personally I agree wink )
Quote by Ice Pie
During my holiday last week, I observed several times that it's not just on naturist beaches that children are allowed to run around naked.

Doesn't it make you feel terribly sad though that we need to be worried about it? They should be perfectly safe, but they're not.
When you say that they're not safe, what exactly are you worried about? Just being looked at won't actually do the child themselves any harm, and I doubt there is any evidence that children running around naked are more likely to be attacked.
Note that I am NOT saying the "meerkat" behaviour is acceptable in any way. What I'm saying is that too often we seem to stop children doing things because of a threat that doesn't really exist.

I see fat as what we have excess of, - we're not made entirely of it! - but again, this is where other people's attitudes come into it - because those who see fat as unattractive/unsexy, usually only see the 'size', they dont see the heart or the soul, they see the outside excess fat and it clouds their perception of the actual person.

Surely we all have our physical tastes that cloud our perception of how attractive we find the other person? I think it's a bit unfair to label people who aren't attracted to "fat" people as in some way particularly shallow.
This is what makes me feel uncomfortable by the term "BBW" - it often seems to be used in a way that implies "if you don't find me attractive then it's YOUR fault". Personally I find that sort of attitude much more of a turn-off than a particular body shape.
Can't we just accept that we're all different, and that we all have different tastes, rather than trying to judge people based on what their particular tastes are?
Quote by naughtynymphos1
The major difference between Fat and BBW, is that one is an insult and the other is a compliment.

i take it by that you mean that being called fat is a insult?
Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that "fat" is more often used as an insult? Pretty much anything can be used as an insult...

- personally think that originally our morals were put in place by religion many years ago and therefore as swinging is probably very much against the morals of the church

Here's a little thought experiment for you... Say on Mount Sinai, God had given out a commandment that read:
"Thou shalt not have sex with anyone you are not married to, unless you use an effective contraceptive that also acts as a barrier against sexually transmitted diseases."
As this commandment got passed down over the years (and remember we don't have the original text of any of the commandments) how likely is it that the "unless..." bit would have got retained? I mean, it would have been completely meaningless to anyone in the ancient world, so why would they bother to repeat a piece of apparent gobblydegook that would just bring the rest of the commandments into direpute. A bit like having a commandment saying "Thou shalt not kill, especially with a cruise missile launched from a distance of at least 100 miles." Not very sensible to your average Ancient Jew...
So, if God had handed down a commandment with the "unless ...." bit , we would almost certainly have ended up with one that simply said "Thou shalt not commit adultery". And so the fact that we've ended up with one that just says "Thou shalt not commit adultery" is no proof that the "unless clause" ever existed, so the commandments give us no evidence for God's opinions on swinging.
Anyone who trys to tell you that you should take the commandments as literally true is ignoring the fact that they have been filtered through a whole set of different cultures, and so will unavoidably have been tinkered with over the years. (I hate to tell you this, but God didn't write the originals in English...).
And the literalists are just being lazy. Anyone who believes in God has a duty to think for themselves, and try to understand the underlying messages, if you like the true "word of God" rather than just taking the easy way out and simplistically following the words of a whole series of human translators.
I'd be interested to see anyone's argument as to why swinging is incompatible with the moral beliefs taught by Jesus. Somehow I doubt there's any evidence for that...

hi there. im a 24 year old black male, i actually do not know why i always have to put black in but its been a habit for some odd reason.

Why is it any more strange to put "black" in than it is to put "24 year old" in? They're both things that contribute to giving a good description of yourself.
So if you think your skin colour is "kind of neat" and will attract people then there's no reason why you shouldn't mention it. It's just the same as me mentioning my huge cock and double jointed tongue...

WHAT!!........Steps have split up!.....when?

Ah, yes. But at least Take That are back together...
Always found the Smash Aliens irritating rather than funny...
My favourite was the Carling Dambusters advert - maybe because I first saw it in a packed cinema and several bits brought the house down.
Or maybe it's a childhood full of making goggles with my hands and humming "Da, da da..." as we ran aroudn the playground...

Sorry If ive bored you!

Boobies are never boring !!!

Well said that man!
I guess the debate about which is the perfect cup size is a bit like asking a guy to choose between a Porsche and a Ferrari. I mean, you're hardly likely to turn either down!
Mark.
Confirmed breast fan.
I've posted elsewhere saying how much I appreciate the effort Mark put into this site.
Personally I have my doubts that the new owners will manage to keep the spirit unchanged in the long run - part of what made this site so attractive was that it was "for swingers, and by swingers" and I fear that however hard they try, at some point things will begin to go wrong. Not by design, but by accident.
But I don't know that for sure, and I feel we have to at least give the new owners a chance. Nothing's going to change overnight, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
But equally we have to accept that some people are in shock and grief at the moment, at what they see as a threat to something that's a huge part of their life. I don't think we should judge anyone who gets upset at this stage - give them some time to get over it.
M.
I first joined this site a couple of years ago, and while I hardly contributed to the forums, I did meet someone very special in my life here, so I guess I have as much to thank Mark for as anyone else.
Coming back here a month ago, I was amazed to find that the site was still free. I know from personal experience that even running the smallest web site can become a huge time consumer. If Mark has found a way that he can be paid back for all the hard work he put in, well I guess we still owe him far more than he received.
It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all...
So I'd just like to join all the others and say:
"Thank's Mark!"
One thing I've never understood about the class system is that all that seems to matter to most people is where you were born.
Like, if you were female and born on a council estate, that makes you a "good working class girl" even if you're a higly paid barister, spend your holidays in Tuscany, fork out for private tuition for your kids, and are married to the Prime Minister.
Surely it should be who you are, not who your parents were that matters?
And don't get me started about people with two Jaguars...
Princess,
Totally agree that you should do what's right for you, just as long as you're careful.
But I'd hate all women to start having boob jobs - some of us guys actually prefer small boobs...
Mark.
P.S. There's an article about Tunisia at
P.P.S. What does an "uplift" actually involve?

That's a very cute pussy. (No, really...) What sort is it?
Quote by Debbiewebs
But yes i mush prefer to watch a home movie then a bought one!........ as the women in the bought ones look so bloody false and you no there just doing it for the money they make

Agree totally. And they all look like they've had footballs surgically inserted into their breasts...
I wonder how many people do it more than once? I can sort of understand someone getting all worked up about the fantasy, but when it came down to it deciding it wasn't for them. But it sounds like some people do it time after time.
I guess it's like the people who send out a picture of someone else...

There was hardly any sex in it this week......but the word Cunt was said!!

They also talked about a little button just above it, which apparently sent the Roman women mad with desire (as if), but I suppose they can't get every little detail right in these period dramas.. dunno
Yeah, but given the standard of the sex on show, for most women it would be the first time they'd ever had it touched in their lives, so maybe it was a little more sensitive in those days...

Opened tonights episode by slicing his head open . Then drilled into his skull to perform presumably brain surgery . All to much for me so i switched off.

That bit made me think "Oh, so this is the educational bit where they teach us about Roman surgical methods". Didn't seem any other plot reason for it.

Oh right. It's Obvious. "Tuesdays Possibly Excepted".
Obviously someone who knows that they would feel clasutrophobic in a full time relationship, and wants to have the occasional day for "personal space".

I don't have to claim my personal allowance for income tax. It is mine by right and by law. To get the same sort of allowance for council tax I have to expose myself to the gaze of those employed by my money.
I've said it before. Counci Tax can not be defended.

I totally agree. Just put the pension up by the equivalent amount, and let the pensioners chose what they want to spend the money on...

I logged out because my partner, Tom, is here. But I'm still aroused in the sense that my blood is boiling a little. There's a fundamental right enshrined in several places. I've just been to look one of them up. But it's been said by several political parties.
"From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs"

Actually "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need." It's a quotation from Karl Marx. I think it's describing a Communist utopia, not a fundamental right - for example you won't find it in the European Declaration of Human Rights.
That's not to say you shouldn't agree with it, but I doubt you'd find any of the 3 mainstream parties willing to sign up to it as a principle.
