As you can already see......peoples opinions vary.......but please don't "mis-judge" them or indeed take offence. What you have to remember is their opinions are generally based on an experience of life....
Like I say, show patience and get to know a few members here and if youve an open mind you'll probably find yourself warming to them

I think it's fair to say swinging would generally revolve around people older than their late teens but that said, there is nothing (so far as I am aware) written in stone that excludes individuals/couples of that age group.....
As you rightly suggest, a sense of maturity would also be necessary for others to take you seriously...That may sound harsh but if you read over some of the threads that have graced themselves on these pages, you will see a good number of people have gotten pretty "hacked off" by guys in particular who come on board with the, "Here I am who's first?" attitude......
The fact you were bothered to pose the question at all at least suggests it is something you have given some thought to and therefore lends you some credibility.....
If you do decide this is what you want then please bear in mind everyone will have their own ideas on age.....these just happen to reflect mine....I'm sure if you come across as a sensible level headed individual then people will respond accordingly.....
Don't be pushy....take time to get to know the members on here.....I'm sure your patience will be rewarded in the long run.....

Seeing as this site now boasts a membership countrywide.... if not wider still!!! I thought I'd ask your comments re a very very recent survey.
It would seem from a survey of 5,000 people (quite where they find all these people is beyond me. All I'm ever surveyed on is....have you heard of our new credit card.....only 1000% interest...would you like half a dozen.....or.....have you thought of switching from BT to can to can telecoms......)...anyway to continue....
Results of survey indicate CUMBRIA to be the best place in Britain to live if regular nookie is what floats your boat!!!
On average, each Cumbrian (Is that a proper decription of someone who lives in Cumbria???? Hmmmm could start another thread on that alone!!)
enjoys sex 165 per year....more than 3 times a week.....
Whereas....poor ole Dorset(onians).......suffer an appalling average of a mere 115 romps per year....

From a relative "Newbie" point of view I can see right where TS is coming from, but it's clear so can most if not all of the mods.....
You have made a very valid point here TS and I think you can already see the Mods have taken note.
Seems to me in a roundabout way you've just been warmly welcomed into the fold....

Quite frankly this whole topic beggers belief.....and I for one cannot understand why there is even debate......Sure we live in a democracy but frankly this Manager/proprietor appears to have an attitude not far short of one of Saddam Husseins hence men....
To me the answer is simple......inform the appropriate persons as to why....then name and shame in order to hit these people where it hurts

I'd have to agree with the comments put by the analogkid. One way or another (in my humblest opinion) I happen to believe there is always an underlying jealousy.
It's not a "What the hell are you up too" kind of jealousy, and I guess it's somewhat hard to put into words quite what form the jealousy takes but what the kid suggests by way of an increase in adrenilin is as good a description as I could achieve.....
In any event, Claire started this thread wondering if others experienced this kind of reaction/feeling. I think the answer is yes.......but in very much varying degrees. And as far as I can see, so far none have suggested it gets in the way of the fun......

I have to say I can't really find fault with your points of view. However, the fact an individual may retain a little jealousy when seeing their partner on the receiving end of pleasure, doesn't rubber stamp them as "Not suitable to swinging"..... though I'm sure you didn't mean that!
Luckily, we all differ as individuals, (what a sorry world it would be if we didn't!!), and even if not another soul will admit as much, I for one can still feel jealous while watching my partner enduring pleasure......
And I can't say it's an altogether unpleasant feeling...far from it...

But as an honest opinion, I happen to believe we all crave that little extra from life, and in doing so, to a greater or lessor extent, accept what risks there are involved after doing all possible of course to minimise such risks.
The bottom line of course is never to overstep the boundaries.....
