Point taken, but only really works if both sides are into swinging... So I still say DAMN...lol
Anyone said Starfleet at all yet. This may be accentuating my geekish qualities, but awesome Japanese puppet show from the early 80s (thankfully on DVD now, almost got very sticky when I found it...lol). Brian May did a cover of the theme song...for some strange reason... Great fun dipping in to your memories ain't it...
OK, without referencing any celebs...
Female, about 5ft 2, not skinny, friendly face (cute), the edge of goth/alternative, not too fussed about breasts so long as they're 'shapely'...
Problem is that ideal female happens to be a spoken-for friend...DAMN!!!
I reckon whatever criticisms the film may incite, which are pretty much typical for most Burton films I'm looking forward to it. Only seen the trailer so far (and in 2D unfortunately) but along with Shutter Island, Lovely Bones and MicMacs I wanna see it... Can't be any worse the Wolfman...lol
PS - much like others, I had that same thought about the thread title, did ya have to plant that vision of Roy Chubby Brown in my head, gotta try and focus on bouncy332's avatar instead...that's better...
Can't say I've ever wanted to write a novel but have done some short stories, the odd couple which have been published in small press zines. Think mine always seem to end up with a sexual horror element to them (mentioning that's gonna make me popular ain't it...lol). There are so many subjects out there though...
Completely agree with splendid_ Some of the stuff you put down on paper seems great until you read it back to yourself later. In my case it just sounds naive & tacky now.
Think it also comes down to whether you're gonna be writing for yourself or a prospective publisher in terms of some content and subject matter...
Thanks for the feedback, so the general jist seems to be I'm either mad as a hatter or an adrenaline junkie, perhaps both. Cheers Plimboy for the mile high comment, honestly I still need to work on the ground level (but that's another subject...lol). Looks like I'll go for a tandem jump, just got to gather together the testicular fortitude... I'll give you an update when I've got something booked...gulp
Has anyone tried skydiving? Found a place near me which is a UK base and thought I might give it a try as part of my try new things in the new year...
Hi, I'm off to York on 22nd/23rd Feb, anyone wanna show me the sights, as I haven't been there in years. Not really looking for sex (although who am I to say no), so will probably find I'm in the wrong part of this forum, just a relaxed day with someone who knows the general area. For info though, I'm straight, 32, and looking for a female with the same sorta attributes who enjoys museums / walking etc. Hope to hear from 1 or 2 souls and will check back later. See ya...
Somehow it seems my thread has undergone a little bit of a shift. What was purely an innocent suggestion seems to have evolved into a discussion on AUP / moderators and suchlike which was not my original intention. Certainly didn't want to be stirring up a hornets nest. Seems like I've gotta be slightly more careful what I post on these forums... I apologise for that...
Haven't been on here for too long, but I wonder what changes people would make to this site, just for fun. I reckon it'd be fun to have a little status bar on the profile, bit like Facebook / Twitter instead of selecting an emoticon, as it's a bit more personal then...
Yeah, I know what ya mean, far too many films ruined by the ending, don't find it quite so much with books... I know one that splits people, The Blair Witch Project, always loved the ending myself, even if the film is wearing badly. To Kill a Mockingbird always good as well... While I'm here was it just me or was Transformers 2 really as bad as I thought, or does it perhaps need another viewing?
PS - rumours of a Titanic sequel, it comes back with a zombie crew, cross between Pirates of the Carribean & Dawn of the Dead...lol
Hi, sorry about the general mundane nature of the subject, but thought this could be a good way to say hi to a few more people on this site (assuming anyone replies...lol). So here's goes, what's your favourite film ending? Gotta say mine is The Usual Suspects, Kevin Spacey wandering out of the copshop casually, changing his whole demenour as the police figure out who they've had in their midst...awesome... Here's a hearing a few more suggestions...
Today marks the first time writing a reply in a forum (my something new for the day) and I thank this thread for that privilage...lol I have nothing much to add I'm sure, and Kaznkev, who cares if you have a mundane ambition, so long as you get to fulfil it...
I'm 32, people tell me I look about 24, and I probably act about 12, seems to be some kind of downhill slope, hopefully I won't reach the uphill part...lol
Hey, need to pick your collective brains. Where would people recommend going around the UK for a weeks holiday, not necessarily with swinging or anything in mind, although could be a bonus? Last year bummed around Cornwall which was amazing. Was thinking Snowdonia??? Any thoughts... Cheers...
Hi, I'm new to all this, and one of those single guys. Just looking to chat / meet / whatever with some like-minded females, and open up my horizons a little... Drop me an e-mail if ya like... Speak later...
