My feeling is that these sort of people would be the type to treat people as commodities, and not as human beings - Objects of lust to gain satisfaction from, rather than people with desires, needs, interests and senses of humour to gain mutual pleasure with.

I would consider myself a feminist, did sex and gender studies at uni and even belong to women's groups yet sexually I totally get off on being submissive to and perhaps even degraded by a man. Weird.

I've been blonde since a friends amateur bleach job in high school (my shade is a lot nicer these days!!)but every so often I dye it brown and I feel rubbish - also men don't pay half as much attention to me with my hair dark.

My advice would be to read the advert and be specific to it.
It can be quite clear what kind of man a girl wants, so a generic mail which is obviously used on all the women here isn't going to impress, neither is a wink. I'd say most girls want to think you've mailed her because their ad (or chat/photo/activities etc) has caught your eye.
A bit of thought, wit and selectivity in a mail is the best way to go!

Oh God, men with long hair are just sooo sexy, my particular favorite was in a 90's band called Reef - it was more of a surfer look than rocker but he was the most gorgeous man ever to walk the earth - phew!!
