Looks to me as though Zone Alarm has blocked one or a range of ports used to access the Chat Room. Perhaps you could find a helpful Admin who could tell you which ports need to be opened?

Does anyonw know the address for the beta chatroom? It seems to have gone from the chatroom page.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Angie and I can now get into the chat room. I don't think that we did anything different. First of all we got into the beta chatroom yesterday, and then we got into the main chat room this afternoon.
I don't know if anything has changed at your end, but we are really pleased to be back in the land of the living.

I wonder if someone would set out what the problems with the Chat Room are please?
Both Angie and myself have the latest Intel Macs with the latest version of the Flash player installed (Version: 9,0,28,0). We do not access internet via Ticali, and yet we cannot access the Chat Room using either FireFox or Safari.
We are either continuously transfered from one server to another or we are stuck on whatever server we are allocated to. The only buttons that are active are the New Room button and the View Profile Button. Neither of these buttons work.
Any ideas?

But seriously, Angie has a MacBook and I have a MacBook Pro. As soon as we can get into the Chat Room, we will test out the camera and tell you how we get on. It shouldn't be too horrible.
Now, if only I could get in...

We have been having this problem for weeks.
We still can't get in this morning...
Is this problem still on-going? Every time we try to get into Chat, we get bounced from one server to another and never get any further.
Has anyone found an answer?
