Firstly, I ask them questions that they are quite happy to confirm eg. do they believe in the bible; does the bible contain everything they need to know; is it possible for people to interpret the boble in different ways (they say no, and that there is only one meaning); etc. etc...
I then go on to ask them if I will go to heaven. They will explain no (they believe that only 144,000 will go to heaven ie. those that died before 1935 - I know, it's bazarre, but it's what they believe.)
So I ask them how they know that? They will come up with some nonsense. I ask them to show me where in the bible it says that only 144,000 (before 1935) will go to heaven. Hmmm....they get stumped here because it doesn't say so. I then keep repeating my questions - do they believe in the bible; does the bible contain all the truth; where does it mention 144,000.....
I have the second JW joining in the conversation at this point.....
They won't come up with a satisfactory answer....
I then ask some more questions.
If I do not believe in God will I be banished from Paradise Earth. They will say yes.
If a baby, or a child, or some people in the wilderness have never heard about god, or the bible, then will they be banned from 'Paradise Earth'. They will say no. (They believe that you are only banished if you have heard of God and choose not to believe.)
Hence, I ask, by going around the community and introducing people to the 'notion' of God, are they then actually forcing those people to be banished from Paradise Earth? Which is actually logically true.

Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on the Chatroom, which is a shame. It 'can' be nice sometimes to chat on there, but I find there are some weaknesses. It doesn't seem possible to look at someone's profile from there (unless I've missed something), and at the least I like to know who is talking (and likewise for them to know who I am).

Where do people recommend for going away for a few days or weekend?
Amsterdam is a popular choice, but there are plenty of others. Personally, I've only been to Amsterdam, and it was only for a few hours bwteen flight connections at the airport. I had a quick walk around and actually found it less seedy than I expected.

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I only joined a few days ago and have been plucking up the courage to 'jump in'.
Well....I'm male, 35, work in IT, 5'10", average build, tanned skin, dark piercing eyes.
Married with two children. Married for 10 years, but just recently starting to feel the 7-year itch (happening late for me....lol...)
Love my wife, and am generally happy with my marriage ....but....it's getting a little boring. Have tried all sorts of ways to make it more exciting, but have spent most of my marriage coming to terms with the fact that she has a low sex-drive :-( Until recently, I thought I could get by, but now I'm wondering what I'm missing out on....

I don't know (especially as I'm very shy). I'm intrigued by the sound of some of the clubs (especially Chameleons), but I don't fancy going there and just end up being one of the 'single blokes' hanging around. Perhaps I may pluck up the courage one day.
