Very valid point - this thread seems to have gone off on a tangent - to bring it back online I think the photo ads should be de-cluttered because as a regular user of the serach function it p*sses me off when I keep finding ad's that are over 2 months old. The ad's section is for ad's not for profiles.
BTW flat to the head gets my vote!

I just wanted to say for the record that I agree with Mr T on this one. I love the ad's section and I am a very occasional user of the forum as you can see from the number of posts I have made. It doesn't mean that members who prefer to use the photos ads should be treated with any less respect than regular forum users.
Also for the record I wish they would clear out some of the clutter (and by that I am refering to the one line ads!)

Seeing as the quote you chose to highlight in your own post was mine it deserves some form of reply. It you look again you will find that the person claimed to have been here two years before he posted anything, which is fine, what my personal objection was that the first and only post at the time (after 2 years of allegedly being here) was a blatant moan, what a great way to fit in. If the person felt strongly enough to moan about an issue then why not do it two years ago, or a year ago. even six months ago. I am sure there was just as much clutter 3 months ago as there is now.
I too love the ads section, it has rewarded me well and still does. "If it works then dont change anything. If it works well then do it again" (cant remember the author)
I know someone who has a couple of ads on here who works abroad and gets home every six months or so and only updates his ad on his return to the UK. He has very limited access to any form of Internet connection abroad other than work related. Security concerns will restrict many of our friends abroad regarding being able to log on to such sites as SH. So should his ad be deleted, or cleared out as some people put it? People come and go, some even for 2 year gaps (allegedly) . Moaning about something here on this web site regarding the infrastructure will rarely if ever change anything other than to breed negatives and promote others to moan. The way forward at this critical stage is via positive means and a coming together of this community. We will all stand or fall by that unity or the lack of it. It is time for consolidation and a positive structured outlook. We need to move on and upward and we can only do this in unity, not by whinging and moaning about something that we canot change.

i thought the whole ethos of sites like this one was that we are all "open minded" and ready to accept peoples individuality?
now i ma not saying that i do not have my boundaries, because i most certainly do and make them quite clear to whoever needs to know. i may not agree with everything that anyone on this site believes, but i will defend to the death their right to hold those beliefs.
I doubt very much that as many people would be offended at bisexuality as would be offended at Skat. I do not have data for this, I am using common life knowledge here. However if you have data that puts Skat in the same popularity, or even more popular, than, or as bisexuality then do inform us all because I am struggling with your reasoning. I am assuming it is your reasoning due to a lack of quoted knowledge source and the wide category bracket. If you are lumping them all together then that isn't even on the 'reasoning' scale and so any data source quoted would be irrelevant.
Also please do tell us WHY we would all be just as offended at all those different activities and lifestyles you have placed in the same category.

With regard to Cross Dressing and TVs the government figures state that around one in four men indulge in some form of cross-dressing at some point in their life. Also around half of married men or men in a partnership have cross dressed in one or more garments belonging to their female partner. Therefore it puts your declaration of "You finger pointers might be surprised to learn, that just as many people are offended by..........." into question I would have thought. To compound your error are you aware just how many people on here are self declared bisexuals? Yet you clearly state that just as many people would be offended by bisexuality as they would be to Skat? I dont think so, I have no figures for the rest of your wide and varied subjects. Like I said previously, if you do have your own acquired data then enlighten us.
I assume therefore this is just your opinion to which you are of course entitled to. But say it is your own opinion and don't speak for the whole of the bisexual or LGBT community unless you can back up your statement with recognised facts and figures or quote some form of data source.

Am I missing something? A lot of personal ads talk about payment - I never have had to pay and I get answers to ad's resonably frequently (not as often as I would like though :P ) have SH started charging for newbies? and if so how much! I thought this was a free service?
