What ever one you get test it out beforehand!
I made the mistake of getting a cheap jessops one which was ok on my G2, but when I got a full size SLR the problem was when tilted to do portrait the head/DSLR attatchment couldnt hold the camera without slipping so the camera ends up pointing down :-/
The problem is the head is realy made for a camcorder not a SLR.
Mind you a 24-70 2.8 lens is blody heavy.
There's also a spurious " " being shown just above the quickie text box. Might be legit but just looks odd!

The time wars are far from over, and they have been un-time-locked, so time is in flux and not "fixed" by both sides loosing, which in its own right is a paradox, as going back in time to change, changes the future, which isnt changed cos it is now, ad-infinitum. etc.
add into that Rose who is a parralel exsistence, which cannot happen as even the time lords/darleks can only exist in the "now/here..."

My take on it is...
If you are personaly "good" to yourself and others and your OWN beliefs... then sod what the "god botherers"(1) say.
(1) most religions are about imposing "laws" or "rules."
Most of the laws and rules haave good legitimate reasons... dont kill, dont steal, help people, etc.
Most religions and non-religious law systems are open to abuse by people using them for their own ends.
One of the reasons for the "dont covert" and "dont shag around" was so land owners and their "legitimate" ofspring could continue to own the land without some "kid" turning up and saying "he's my dad... i want a cut."
A lot of god bothereres are more interested in being better than thy neabours, not about actually following a faith... to them any faith would do, just as long as they are better than thao!
It does not matter what faith you believe in, just as long as you are true to yourself... at the end of the day, god (who ever, or possibly no one...) will judge you as an individual... if you are true to your self, and if god (or some devine being does exist) then surely he wants nothing more than you to be you, after all we were made in his image... so ultimatly we can never transgress because we are copies of him(her)self.
Dont get me started on the other religion that even tho it is almost identical to "christianity" has been so corrupted by people intent on being the best and better than thao!
Its such a shame that religion, of all faiths, while having good principals is corrupted and used to subjigate and oppress others.

Most of the problem has been the mortgage lenders fault with allowing greater then 3.5* mortgages due to the fact that the interest rates were low... problem is a small increase in rates now equates to a large increase in the monthly amount required to meet the mortgage.
I also think the media is trying its damndest to talk this country into a recession... we all saw what a badly worded comment did to northern rock where as if nothing had hit the papers the bank would have got a short term loan from the BoE and no one would have been any the wiser and there would have not been a run on the bank.
The other problem with the housing valuation is that a lot of builders and property management companys have been fiddling the figures by including the "free deposit, free furnature, free what ever" in the actual sale value... So a 150K house with a deposit paid of 30K should be registered as 120K at the land registry as the "seller" gets the 30K back as soon as the paperwork is sorted and funds transfered but a lot have been inflating the land registry details by regestering the full 150K inflating the true value of houses.
Personally this country needs a bit of a recession to bring things back into line with earnings as we are over charged for just about everything we buy as credit has been so redily available.

As far as I can tell its still being shoved back and forth between the commons and the lords due to the fact that no one actually likes the wording of the act as its to wishywashy.
The high ups in the legal system are apposed to it due to the fact it may damage respect of the law in that it will criminalise people for concenting acts if they take photos of themselves and also people who poseess images that have already been deemed acceptable by the censors at the BBFC in context of films.
Its a badly worded piece of legislation introduced to appease a few and win votes and in reality will do nothing to prevent even one murder or violent act.
I believe they are currently trying to re-word the act to bring it more into line with the OPA (Obseen publications act) using more stringent tests such as "likely to deprave" etc.
One interesting point is that some oppersition is from within the church due to the fact that some might try to argue that photos of JC on the cross are offensive and violent... Interesting that! I guess the next time someone kills they should just say "well seeing jesus nailed on the cross made me do it!"
I personaly thinks its one of the most badly worded and ill concieved bits of legislation this covernment has ever tried to force through parlament... if they dont get their way they will just pull the same stunt they did with fox hunting to force it through without concent of the commons and lords.

I use be* ( ) its up to 24meg over BT landline.
From what I can see it connects at about 2-3 times standard adsl, so if your adsl can connect on a 8max at about 4megs then you'll get a connection of about 12 meg.
At the moment their contention is very good, but i'm guessing as more people sign up then it will slow down at peak times.
While it does have a FUP so far no one has caused it to be invoked and my router rarely shows less than multi gigabytes of trafic a day due to running my website on the back of it and downloading huge amounts of porn, lol.
They reciently droped the prices of their packages, so I can see the service slowing down soon.
The problem with vergin "off net" (over bt, not cable), I invoked the get out clause when they introduced the new fup some months back, is that its hugely inder funded and the adverts are pulling so many new people to the service that they just cant cope... there is already talk of selling off the "off net" portion as it was only aquired so that NTL could use the virgin name... "Virgin" is still NTL under a different brand... before they did the reverse sellout I had no problems with NTL over cable before I moved, which was why I went virgin off net for 2 months before bailing.
