You`ve been given many good advices, I can only add that if you should decide to meet someone, make sure you meet in a very pubblic place first, only and i mean only when and if you feel safe and ok, meet in a private environment, a while ago someone in another post said that when meet someone for first time, always text to a good friend the number plate of the car`s guy she will meet, well, i think this is a very good idea. For the rest, just be yourself and be safe all the times xxxxxx

if its a social in a public venue, why is there only a limited number of spaces for single guys? handpicked...wtf..by whom and whats the criteria?
Surely, a social is open to who ever can attend subject to them meeting the criteria about being vouched or on the site for a minimum length of time.
(dont worry,i fully understand when its a pvt house or a pvt club, which has rules about single guys)

BUT....your comment about first timers confuses me..is this meet limited to first timers?? of course its not..and this is not the first time there has been a social in the north wales area either.....so i dont understand.. the only first timer is shane, in terms of organising an event there... so please dont take this response in a negative way, its not meant that way, but the continual downer on single guys does tend to wind me up...yes there are some idiots but the "vouching" and "time on site" will hopefully limit the amount of idiots that are permitted to attend.
I am not discouraging shane in any shape or form..but just questioning the logic and ethics behind this event... in private, i get told the the event wants to "encourage cples to come" to it, hence restricting singles..
Sorry, in my book, that doesnt constitute a social event.. if its social, surely anyone who meets the site/event criteria is eligible, whether single male , single female or a cpl...
You cant cherry pick who attends a social.....well not in my book...unless they have a proven history of incorrect behaviour on the site or at site events

I was the one supposed to meet Alan and Rachel, unfortunally, as per my message to Alan and Rachel, on my way to meet them, something out of my control happened, for this I am sorry.
I would make ammend and ask Alan and Rachel to please forgive me and believe that it was not my intention of not showing up, who knows me can say that I am always kind and respect everyone, never try to meet up unless I am sure and positive to do it.
I would like to answer to Alan and rachel that I do not believe is their fault if people do not show up, unfortunally there are many Idiots around, if I am allowed to say it. And if any of you, expecially Alan and Rachel, think that I am one of them, so be it.
