My experience of using a GU clinic was very positive; I found them respectful and helpful. They even asked if I wanted to use my own name or a pseudonym. No problem. Yes I squirmed a little at the questions 
but they all seemed relevant to the tests I was asking for.
I chose not to go to my GP because similar to another post on here I didn't want any results or my request for tests on my medial records. Even a request will affect things like life-insurance. And no I’m not ashamed of my lifestyle but I’m not going to look for trouble either.
As a health care professional yes I can access medical notes but unless I can demonstrate why I have accessed these notes I can be disciplined and sacked. That goes for even my own records. But agree you have to be caught looking...
Also we are expected to treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless. It is unprofessional to do otherwise in my view.
My final thoughts
If we accept that it is ‘okay’ to look down on swingers, what about those who smoke, drink or are obese all choices we make in our lifestyle – healthcare workers should focus on prevention and treatment and leave irrelevant judgments at the door.

Sorry to hear your are poorly, hope you are better soon.
Make sure you drink loads and get youself off to the doctor, those swollen glans and the description of your tonsills sound bad - ?Glandular Fever/ maybe just a bad flu but better to get yourself checked out.

Dear all
Very sorry to have to do this, but last night I was shivering and shaking before I left work. Got home was very sick and very hot, went to bed at 8pm, woke up at 9,10,11,12,1,2,3,6,7,8 This morning I left half my breakfast as it was just far too painful to swallow and likewise dinner time. Now my ears are very hot, my glands huge, and Ive just shone my large torch down my throat and there are several weird white looking bits (and they don't look like ulcers).
After careful consideration I have to say there is no way I will be well enough to get to Norwich on Friday night.

I think a system could work - it does on ebay!
It can work both ways - building up positive feedback being your aim (well apart from meeting up and having a fab time lol ) Revenge posts are limited by a system of making comments next to them again like on ebay.
I guess this is complicated by needed software to limiit how many posts someone can make.....ok rambling now and seeing the difficulties lol

Well I did post on another thread about a meet which left me a bit doubtful, but Goose your comments and the thread that developed from that was really great.
Anyway since then I met the gentleman again and it was fantastic!!!
