Which entertainment supplier?
BIt off current topic lines but hey ho!
Right,
I am cheesed off with Virgin for various reasons and would like to change suppliers for Phone, Tinterweb and TV.
History.
Before i moved to this new house i requested that BT set up a new BT contract to this new address from my old rented property one.
I moved in and found out that there was a telewest (now virgin) line here too.
Telewest dropped a flyer through the door within days of me moving in and caught my attention etc etc.
Signed up and been with them for a bit but not without issues.
I have 2Mb broad band, evening and weekend call package and standard TV.
The only reason that I can think of staynig with virgin now is for the replay feature on their TV package so you can watch certain shows when you want as opposed to when thay are aired.
Choices
Now i have a friend who bought a 'box' from ebay for £80 and it gives you a multitude of channels at no monthly subscription - sounds good eh.
do i dump virgin for tinterweb and phone and go with someone else and buy a 'box' or do i jump in both feet with another 'whole package' supplier? - if so who do you recommend?
Thanks
Dont know if ther are 'back' maybe a marketing ploy before they become main stream agian...........
who knows
I bought and ate a wispa today, last time i had one of those was YEARS ago.
The slogan on the box they were in said
'some things are better left in the 80's.............some things arn't'
it was a propper taste sensation.
I definately have got it as i just only recently asked for a policy document to be sent out.
I figured i may aswell have something from them seeing as they take a wedge of my monthly income!
I am with a large high street lender and i did not have to show proof of my cbuildings insurance, i was aware that i should have done and i only got written confirmation of my cove some 4 weeks after moving.
The advisor even ticked the box on the relevant form for her having seen my proof of insurance! i just kept quiet and carried on.
Parrots with ASBO's next then lol
Thats a lot of car boot stock.
Parrots dont fetch much down the local market so not worth nicking really, well not worth losing a finger over anyhow.
how about if its ferked you take out your insurance and claim in a fortnights time?
Where do you live?
If you dont have house insurance im on my way round with my swag bag.
How many others do not have contents insurance?
Or am i just that clumsy that i warrant having insurnace lol.
Fair point,
but like i said each to their own
but they are not on here having this discussion so from the point of view of the forum postes i stand by my who cares if your having fun motto.
at the end of the day if you totally happy in your existing relationshop then you wouldnt be meeting others for intimate activities so from the outset somethings not right.
not wanting to start and argument im just stating my opinion.
Couldnt give a onkeys either way tbh.
If your having fun then who cares?
You really cant get that much in the back of a jeep cherokee to be honest.
I have a 406 estate and its the 2.1 TD, the engine before the HDI range, its torquey, with 110 BHP and a HUGE load space with the seats down but turns into a 4 / 5 seater in a matter of seconds.
Mine has done 109K and its still runing sweet, i have put 40K on it in the last 2 years with only £180 spent on a job i wouldnt do my self.
good roof rails as standard and a good range of roof boxes / crossbars to suit.
all in all a GOOD buy - watch it blow up on me tomorrow now!
You will pick up an R reg one like mine for 2K or less or an HDi one for not a lot more.
Can you put me on the list please?
Im available for Door duties too should you require
Thanks
And the first one again in an appreciable size.
Here's a definate SH related celeb spot,
At the NW munch a couple of years ago whilst walking from the hotel to the munch venue in Eccles i spotted Dev from Coronation street as he pulled up in his Saab and jumped out and jumped straight over some random garden wall and had a quick look around in the garden then jumped back into his car with a young lady and drove off.

That remindes me of good old DIY ledgend Texas Tom, what DIY place was he from?
