I would love to go to a club, but I dont know what the best one is, and being a bit quiet Id probably best stay at home.

Now Now, this is my hometown we are talking about, and I was there last Friday and Saturday and got totally mullered. Regrettably we are infamous somewhat nowadays with certain characters who shall remain nameless, other than to say that one might cost us a fortune over the next few years.
Its a typical northern town, with much suspicion cast upon our northerly neighbours, known affectionatley as Yorkies, its much improved over the last 20 years, and does have some of the cheapest housing in the country.
Famous names well - Patrick Whymark ( the bloke who jumped out of the plane at the end of Eagles Dare) actor born there. Patricia Hodge actress, and folk singer Barbara Dickson shops at the local Morrisons. Steve Curre Bass player with T Rex is also from dear old Grimbob, and even better known actor John Hurt lived in Grimsby 4 a while, ehen his father had a church posting here.
Football team have played in all divisions of England, and once were a very good quiz question as the team that never played a home game ( ground is in nearby Cleethopes)
Ned Glover from Emmerdale is a local, and Julie Peasgood of Brookside is local too.
The bass player from Gene, and the bird from Swing Out Sister are local too.
The fish and chips are the best, but apart from that there's one road in and one road out, and its a shithole in the winter.
Apologies for the boredom
Im not sure about how much ive got, and how i should refer to it, but Im open to examination and investigations.

No but it was a public poll, and he is very very popular.
Best British Song 4 me, would have been The Clash's London Calling, but I think it fell out of the 25 year bracket.
Other contenders - James 'Sit Down' Design for Life by the Manics or Weller's You do Something to Me
Ive just dropped a bollock, by recording BBC2 over ITV, arent The Scissor Sisters great though
Should have mentioned Brian Wilson's Smile Shows last year, they were very emotional, mans a genius.
Other mentions OASIS, Manics, Van Morrison, and very occasionally Mr Bob Dylan can be inspirational. And America's best band The Counting Crows.
Simon and Garfunkel in Hyde Park last summer was magical
Best venue's yep like Brixton, and the City Hall types Manc/Sheffield. Arenas like Manchester, Wembley is getting better, hate Earls Court.
Other crap live shows Dylan 7 times out of 10. Robbie Williams, Deep Purple without Richie Blackmore.
This years concerts so far booked
The Finn Brothers/Daniel Bedingfield (with Mrs!!) Bryan Adams REM and the fantastic U2
The best Manchester Band ever - JAMES
Sorry - worst has to be - Bon Jovi and Meat Loaf
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band over 50 times.
When I joined here over a year ago, I advertised in the hope of fulfilling a specific fantasy, a year on and Im in a loving relationship, having the best sex ever, and that should be enough shouldnt it?
So why am I still fantasising, please tell me Im normal, and Im alright, and no I havent told her about it.
I think Barcelona is the most amazing place in the world. Id love to retire there.
