Only way PMs can be sent under your ID is if someone else has your password... recommend simply changing forum password...
Whoever did it must have had access to your PC - assume you have password to this site saved in cookies so doesn't prompt you to log on each time?
E-Mail - not much you can do to prevent sending of mails from your own PC, other than password protect your windows account.

Well I have the joy of being one of those young guys who's older than they are... hang round with peeps in their late 30s and mid 40s more than anything else despite myself being 26... but my friends have always been older than me no matter how or where I meet them. Always tended to find peeps my own age rather frustrating...
Moved out from my parents and into a city of wonder aged 15, and had to cope by myself from early on, so quickly got my head screwed on straight after making all the usual mistakes... and sorta feel middle aged now in a lot of ways (altho a lot of my friends would also shoot me for saying that!)

stationed in Saudi Arabia. So she sends him a very special
care package.
He is very excited to get a package from his wife back home.
He finds that it contains a batch of home made cookies and a
VHS tape of his favorite TV shows. He invites a couple of his
buddies over and they're all sitting around having a great
time eating the cookies and watching TV.

Kaz... download Protowall from if you're really worried about stuff such as spyware.... along with Blocklist Manager from the same place.
However, you'll need talking thru installing and setting up protowall...
The combination of Protowall, BlockListManager, Spybot Search & Destroy, and AdAware SE Pro tends to be effective enough to keep more or less everything at bay. Couple it with Norton AV and McAffee Corporate AV and you should be locked up tight and secure...
