Perhaps you need to change the camera settings to identify the cam as a USB device? Try the different options for this and see what happens.
Sometimes this works because inbuilt cams can use different connections to the one you'd expect, and by just adjusting this you can make the cam work.

Just don't get the Blackberry Storm. It's an irritating piece of junk. The curve is better cos it does what it says on the tin.

Since the new multicam layout there are two main things I think would make the chatroom easier to use and less irritating.
1 Do we really need 5 cams on show? By the time you've expanded the window in order to see all potentail cams there's nothing else to see on your computer monitor, and I've got a 24 inch screen but still find this slightly clunky.
Could we just have three instead?
2 The layout is also not very user friendly. It is quite aggravating to keep having to click on the View Rooms button, which also doesn't always work first time so you need to click it two or three times.
Wouldn't it be better to have another column next to the Chatters column, possibly headed with the server name, which displayed all the rooms currently avavilable on that server? It would also help by making it easier to see where you are in the chatrooms.

I totally love my iPod Touch (a brilliant gadget!), and my Intel iMac (beautiful Screen). And my Gibson Les Paul electric guitar (in my head I hear Jimi Hendrix, but I know I really sound more like Lister from Red Dwarf :cry: )

Yes I've noticed the chatrooms are quieter these day. Not sure why, but there seems to be less people overall. I don't think it's anything to do with the new design, although I think it could do with a few modifications, but somehow the spark has gone.

I don't use Windross either, I've got a Mac, but I used to have to use one at work. It was the most unpleasant and frustrating experience. Nothing seemed to work properly, and usually required the entire IT department just to figure out what went wrong and how to sort it out.

This more than anything is what annoys me about Microsoft. They always think they can get away with "just enough". Don't do anything properly, "just enough" will do.
This is why Windows is the clunky mess it is, and why most of Microsoft's software is so badly written and bugged to the eyeballs.
